I would much rather women receive abortions from trained doctors instead of creeps and low-lifes in the hood or by themselves. I can't understand anti-abortion people who are against sex-education as well. If you really don't want abortions, explain to people how to have sex without concieving. |

But legally, I think they should be available, otherwise you'll have kids born to crappy mothers, kids sticking coat hangers inside them, etc etc. It's an awful thing, but you endanger more people by not having them. |

BTW, I can't remember who made the claim, but I recall hearing about a book where the author said that legalized abortion helped reduce crime, since it meant fewer kids were born to crappy mothers. Maybe we could get conservatives to support abortion rights by renaming it "pre-emptive capital punishment" :) |
