a time for change

I can no longer stand to sit back and watch this world envelope itself with its self-destructive course. I know that many of you on here think that I'm spinning my wheels and that I'm becoming merely a hot-headed young punk, I can assure you that I'm certainly not. Too often we feel that we can't make any changes and that our voice is too small to be heard, when in truth we are more than capable of making changes.

You have referred to me as being a "young turk that wishes to rip the world in half and light it on fire". I do not wish to destroy anything but the ideal that we can be controlled by anyone but ourselves. I can't imagine anyone telling me what I can and can't do, and I should only hope that you would feel the same as I do.

A revolution is possible, but one can only happen if you can face what might happen to you. I look at many of the people around me and I can see that deep inside of them there is a spark that wishes for change, but the mindless desire to continue to exist can be too overwhelming for them. So they continue their day to day tasks, they let people tell them what to do and how to think, and then one day they are no more and they've lived their lives according to how someone else wishes for them to live it.

I do not raise myself upon a pedastal and I am not looking for attention in saying all of this, I say all of this in hopes that you might try looking deep inside of yourselves. I will start a movement here in Colorado and we will make changes, I will never give up and will die before I continue to let our government tell me or anyone else what to do.

peace and love

I agree! I have a little out of the way place in Montana that I would sell you at a reasonable price.

So in other words, you're going to kill yourself?

Good for you! More power to ya.

If Colorado doesn't work for you, I've got a place in Waco that might. Kind of a fixer-upper; a little shot-up and burnt-down.

RE: a time for change

I tried to change things for the better. I actually did a pretty good job- they were even calling my term in office "Camelot" like it was some kind of enchanted fairy tale- or maybe that was just the infamous Democratic Party spin machine, I don't recall. And you remember what happened to me, right?

In case your grasp of American history doesn't go back further than, say, what Britney Spears was or wasn't wearing last week, I'll give you a hint: they BLEW MY FREAKIN' HEAD OFF.

Just a quick "heads-up" for you. No pun intended.

if any of you meet impersonator in real life, do not drink the kool aid!

seriously though, you're fucking retarded to think any of that...i listen to the government and i dont get into trouble because i understand why those laws are in place...certain things like gun control and drug laws are enforced because nobody is the same, ...each person has their own form of happiness

for example, it would make me happy to see you raped and killed by a giant ape...does that mean i should get that to happen? why not?

america would turn into the middle east because everyone would want their own way

whoever wrote that, impersonator or whoever, you must be really messed up to post that here. is this really the forum? furthermore, i wouldn't be surprised if someone reports you to authorities for such suspicious, crazed ramblings. you'll "die" for this cause? do you realize what you sound like?

Yeah, really. Like the revolution of America is going to start on odd todd's site. I can tell you have no clue about laws and government. Even a coke head like George Bush Jr. would be a better pres than you.

RE: a time for change

I only post this on here because I feel as though I have a slight connection with some of the people on this board, plus things have to start somewhere right? So why not on a network that outreaches to people across a widespread area such as the internet? It just feels as though we can't bring about who we really are deep down inside, and that our voices are demolished by a subliminal course of life that has been laid forth by what the media and our government has fed to us.

I knew what many of you would say to my comment the moment I had posted it. But try to keep in mind that perhaps the world that you see around you has been an illusion established by the ones that controll you without you even knowing. If you look far enough into the future at the very moment of your death, if you can put yourself into that position, you can clearly see that for the entirety of your life you may have lived someone else's idea of what they think you should be and you've lived according to their standards and their rules. I feel that it's high time that we break these rules and we begin to live as how we see fit.

peace and LOVE
