The recipe that I found was a large recipe and I didn't want to commit to such a large batch, so this is what I did... I took a 32 ounce jar of hamburger dills, drained out the liquid and put it in a bowl. I then mixed the pickle juice with two cups of sugar and one package of cherry kool-aid. Now the pickles are in the fridge soaking up all that red dye and sweet and sour flavor! How do people come up with these wacky recipes? lol |

Sweet ones are okay in moderation but also are crappy. Ever heard of food coloring? Just use that half wit! You'll get the same color effect without the any change in taste or texture. |

You can taste the Kool-Aid in them, so depending on the flavor, it could be bad or better. They recommend the Jamaican flavor. There is a funky flavor that has Tamarind in it that would probably be really good! |
