I am an avid Stewart fan..and yes he does have a temper..and yes he usually (I can't go with never) says he is wrong..and yes..he does spout off and thinks later. BUT...I have to say..if it wasn't for Tony..or Robbie Gordon..or Kurt and Kyle...and now JPMontoya..wouldn't this sport be really really boring??!! I mean come on now..we get so much of the "yes sir" politically correct junk shoved down our throats it is just mind numbing..How many J Johnsons can one person take??? And, while I have nothing against Dale Jr...he really doesn't have much passion..and mumbles incoherently while talking..so if he is saying something interesting..who would know? So love him or hate him..right or wrong..I will continue to enjoy TS..and others who make this sport worth watching..because of their great car control..and their even greater lack of mouth control!! |
| Posted By: Brian Posted On: Jul 10, 2007 Views: 649 | Tony Stewart Enough, Tony is a intense competitor, and how many of you nah sayers, if you owned a cup team wouldnt want Tony Stewart to be your driver? I don't blame Tony nor do I blame Denny, I look at this as a Racing incident, two overly aggressive drivers racing hard in some horriable conditions, do any of you rember watching the pre-race show where they said the track was awefull and super slipery no grip! Then lets interview Tony Stewart two minutes after getting out of the car ( which I could only imagine was like 110 degrees)which was involved in a major wreck, why because Tony is always good for a story when he is cranked up, I know when I am cranked I need some time to cool down cause if not I always say something I regret later when things are back to normal. I guarentee that at this moment Denny and Tony are at the JGR having a coke and laugh saying "boy we gave them all something to talk about!" and chuckling, so everyone chill out and enjoy the season, and lets all pray Goodyear pulls there head out of Nascars butt and starts bringing some good tires these guys can run on. :) |

We al thought Tony was a star when he came to nascar, could it be we were all mistaken. I would say without prejudice that Denny has more talent then Tony. Matter of fact I would put money on it. Tony complained about bump drafting,then started bump drafting the same day. |
