However, I do believe that our City will maintain its racial percentages and that other races or ethnic groups will come to do business, but not want to live in our neighborhoods. Remember no is prejudice against that green race (dollars). Chester offers a workforce that no conscious business enity can ignore. What we have create is better jobs for all the citizens and improve the housing conditions which will provide stability to the families and empower them for the next generations to follow. |

Being rich or poor has nothing to do with the color of one's skin. More importantly, it has everything to do with knowing who you are and the potential that lies within. Chester's Black community is in the shape it's in because black people have forgotten to remember their creator. They have bought into the oppressors' "ways" and have allowed their inheritance to be taken fom them, not even stolen, just taken. Can Chester remain mostly Black and rich? Of course it can, when black people decide they want to take back what the enemy has taken from them: their self worth. |
