Dale Earnhardt Jr. I'm looking forward for Dale Earnhardt starting fresh with new team and new number in the 2008 season. As a Jr fan I'm sadden by the whole thing. It can not be the money that is the problem, i do think it is personal. I as a fan will not support DEI in anyway. I have lost all respect for Theresa for just not making it work with Jr. I do think that Earnhardt Sr. would be very upset with her, but at the same time i think he would be so proud of his son for moving on and doing what it will take to win a championship! For all of # 8 fans we will follow what ever number and show it off proudly and loudly!

The 8 Yes the step monster owns DEI as Dale Sr's will left it to her. That will was written in 1992 when Jr was only 17 years old. It should have been updated because everyone knows it was Dazle Sr's intention for DEI to be for his kids. A little note here is Dale always said she took care of the business end of things so why would she remind him to change something that would take away from her. DEI has lost a lot of fans so I feel they are the real losers.
