| Posted By: Jeffrey Rosado Posted On: Sep 2, 2007 Views: 842 | Across The Universe Although I'm nervous about this film being held back for a while, the fact that McCartney apparently liked it gives me hope...But even if it doesn't live up to expectations, it'll make a great twin bill with Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band (the movie). Jeffrey |

| Posted By: S.T. Stevens Posted On: Aug 31, 2007 Views: 988 | I'm Not There Easily the Bob Dylan "biopic." It's one of the most unique ideas I've seen in a while, it's about Bob Dylan, and it's got Cate Blanchett & Christian Bale. I'm sold. |
| Posted By: Katebo Posted On: Aug 31, 2007 Views: 366 | Fall Preview top 5 Of these, I'm Not There just slightly edged out Across the Universe for me. As for its attraction, I love musicals, I love Beatles music, and I like what I've seen of Julie Taymor's stuff (esp. her work in musical theatre and opera). I can't wait to see Across the Universe and will be seeing it opening night. The one I'm probably most excited for, though, is 3:10 to Yuma, which I have been looking forward to for at least 6 months now. I love westerns and it's been way, way too long since we had a good, old-school, good vs. bad horse opera. I'll be there opening night. |
| Posted By: joblowski Posted On: Aug 31, 2007 Views: 347 | Long live Jesse James I gots to vote for Jesse, too, though I'm also exited about I'm Not There. It's been too long since there's been a good western (and 3:10 to Yuma isn't doing it for me). I see that Across the Universe is on top right now. Can someone explain the attraction of that one? I've never connected with any of Julie Taymor's movies. They're all very nice to look at, but that's it for me personally. |
| Posted By: Michael Posted On: Aug 31, 2007 Views: 309 | Jesse James I have been waiting on this film since it was first announced. With Zooey Deschanel, Casey Affleck, Mary-Louise Parker, Sam Rockwell, Paul Schneider and Brad Pitt how can one not be a little excited. |
