Genesis Full and Final Farewell Tour

One of the greatest days of my life, saw the band in Knebworth in early 90's too - but also one of the saddest if they dont do it again! C'mon Phil - you have squillions of fans - do it again. You are a legend and a music miracle. PLEASE!!!!!!!

Simply Amazing

I was so unhappy when Phil Collins made his farewell tour… because I had never had the privilege to se him on stage. But then he went on tour with genesis and that was so amazing because I LOVE their work! I have grown up with genesis under the influence of my father, and their music is very precious to my (as it phil Collins solo work). My parents gave me the tickets for Christmas and I was so happy and shocked that i just collapse and broke down crying… then came the most fantastic day of my life standing only in the 3 row I experienced what I had dreamed of most of my life… I was bewitched from the moment the show started and the feelings that roused in side my and the journeys the music took me on, I will never be able to explain… I know that I can’t ever thank genesis enough

Genesis

I went to see them at Manchester then drove down to see them in London. Then went to this year's first showing of the 'When in Rome' coverage and met all three of them afterwards. Thank you, Genesis, you're the only band worth listening to. Got to go, Supper's Ready is on the turntable.

One moment in life

My husband took me to the Genesis Turn it on Again concert at Twickers for my birthday. I have seem them before but it was the first time for my husband.
We got the the stadium at around 3pm and the crowds were all ready gathering, the excitment in the air was electrifying but the wait unitl the start of the concert flew past as we were with everybody who was there for the same thing as us.

The music started to play and THEN they came on to the stage, my eyes welled up with excitement, but as I looked around I think most us had the same feelings.
Track after Track blasted from the speakers and the whole of the genesis fans singing along to each and every track.

To me this is one of the most memorable days in my life since I have been married to my husband and thank him forever, but without the whole of Genesis playing there hearts and souls out this would not have been the same.
Thank you

Genesis in Cleveland & L.A.

I am and will be a Genesis fan forever. My husband took me to my first Genesis Concert and have been hooked since. I went to the show in Cleveland - it was awesome. I was so sad when it was over knowing that could possibly be the last time I got to see them play together. I bought tickets online for the final L.A. show--spent a lot but well worth it. I gave flowers to Phil, Mike, and Tony - was all I could do to show my gratitude for all that they have done. I would have loved an autograph-but they're smiles were worth everything! There hasn't been a day in the past year that I haven't forgotten about that night--Thanks to all of you.

genesis concert

My husband and I went to Twickenham on july 7th to see Genesis. It was an absolutely brilliant evening. We were in row 5 only meters away from Phil. It rained while they were singing Domino but I couldn't have cared less.
I would love phil to do another concert, it looks unlikely but I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
I've bought the DVD When In Rome, watching it brings back the memories of an amazing concert!

collins performance in Africa

I am writing to ask why phil Collins has never perfomed in Africa while his music is played everywhere in that continent. And africans know him better than many african singers.25

Concert

I wasn't able to go and by this poll it appears I really missed a great concert. Do you think Genesis or Phil will tour again? Sure hope so! Happy birthday soon Phil!

turn it on again tour

I'm a little jealous of those that went for little or no money. I don't go to many concerts but I love the music Phil Collins has composed as well as Genesis so I splurged to see Phil up close and. personal. It was worth every penny! My sister and I appreciated the time Phil and the band spent inviting us into their world of music. It was an experience of a lifetime and I will always treasure it.
