I don't begrudge him that celebration, but I really think that the win by Blake was the turning point. The Bryan brothers were pretty clearly the favorites and when Blake won, it meant that we only had to win one more and that was going to happen one way or the other. |

Roddick gets the assist because if he doesn't win, I'm not sure how the pressure of 0-1 would've taken a toll on James, but that's moot. James played a great and gutsy match to get past Youzhny. Best match of the tie for sure. And while it didn't count, the final two sets of the Blake-Tursunov dead rubber were great displays of power tennis from both sides of the net. |

True, Roddick pasted Tursunov, but he didn't appear to be in good form at all, whereas Youzhny appeared to have something to offer Blake. Blake has also been a question mark (mentally, tactically) in the past, so his performance really set the tone. |
