Need some advice

So, I'm hoping I could buy one. I checked alot on coda bows, but which bow should I use? And I'm no rich guy, I think my budget (max) is Diamond NX. I'm in love with Coda Nickel level and Prodigy. Prodigy is a bit cheaper, but which should I choose? Someone???

RE:RE: Bass vs. Violin

I say rent a bass and see how you like it and if you like it go for it!

re: bass vs. violin

Well, the bass is such as bigger instrument, and to go from one note to another, you may have to move your whole hand from above your head to below your waist! But I say go for it!

Carbon vs, Wood

I own a carbon fiber bow, and think that while they aren't particularly good bows, they'll do.

Carbon Fiber Bows

I have a coda carbon fiber bow and a wood bow, and they are very different. The wood bow has a more lush and sweet sound, but the coda is quite a bit lighter and easier to play with, especially for things like spiccato. I use them for different purposes.

Carbon vs Wood

I only been playing violin for about 3 years. I have a very nice instrument in terms of sound. When I was auditioning bows I prefer Carbon for it's weight and performence. The first bow I bought was a Coda Colours which I love for it's playbility. In my case I also have a Spiccato bow French bow maker Benoit Rolland. It's a very wonderful bow and is proberly my best bow. The other bow I have is Knoll Round Pernambuco Silver Mounted Violin Bow. It produces the same sound as my spicatto but is not as light. I use it when I want something heavier.

Carbon bows

Carbon bows are okay. I have wood and a carbon bow. The wood bow gives off better sound and the carbon does not give off so great. The wood bow isused for my upgrade instrument. the carbon bow is used for my school instrument. I prefer wood over the carbon bow! It is so much better!

Carbon fiber bows

I think it's a good idea. With wood bows you need to worry about temperature and climate. If you get carbon fiber, you could wash the stick if it got dirty. Try doing that with a wood bow.
