Who's Your Daddy!?

I am siding myself with the 75% of the population that does not vote for a president or want or see a need for the Federal Govt. So the rest of you 25 percenters go ahead and have you days and enjoy them while they last. The Democrats really are only about 12 % of the population and the republicans are really only aqout 12% too. And that last 1% is the rest of the A-Holes that ruin it for the majority of the country. Once the number of us that do not care for you reaches 80%, which will happen in the next 20 Years. We will have all of you outnumbered 4 to 1. While you vote, we will be amassing alot of interesting capabilities. DOn't mess with the richest and most powerful people on the planet, The Americans who do not vote. Soon you will be gone and we all will be able to scream at the top of our lungs "Free at Last!, Free at Last!, Thank God Almighty, We are Free at Last"

we will need to grow gils when the world goes underwater, maybe then we'll be free, but keep in mind, you're the first i'll rape and kill, which means i'll sperm underwater and force you to swim through it with anus opened wide...i guess?

not voting is really not helping anything

"not voting is really not helping anything"

And voting for the wrong person makes things even worse.

I hate it when people don't like either candidate, so they just vote for their party...I'm gonna stop before I do a rant. It would be waisted here anyway.

RE: Who's Your Daddy!?

Out of the possible choices, I don't see one that I'd really want for president. I'm not voting this year, but if I had to, I would probably pick Obama.

RE: Who's Your Daddy!?

Well that depends on what crazy pills you as a frontal lobe freudian would be taking yourself. As far as the gills thing goes, that is us as well, we are sending back impulses to nuclear reactors, using a combination of hair dryers and peanut butter, don't ask about the hair dryers, it is way more complicated than the peanut butter, to propell the earth closer to the sun. We are almost to the point of no return, next year will be hotter than the last. We did warn you, and you did not listen. Please , you are not wasting a rant here. This is a free country, who are you afraid of? I sure hope it isn't the majority of the people who live here. That would be a shame. Borak obama is nothing more than youe average affirmative action candidate. As well as Hillary. Trust me , you would see a mushroom cloud over D.C. before you would see eighter of those two take the oath. Thank You Iran.

RE: Who's Your Daddy!?

Not voting as a method of taking a stand is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. It also has to be the laziest form of protest possible. If you are unhappy with the candidates, there are about a million ways to take action and get involved that have at least a possibility of bringing about some kind of change. Not voting won't bring about change, it simply helps things stay the same. Do you honestly think that if all of the public stopped voting that the beaurocrats would care? They would be elated that it is now easier for those in power to pick what THEY want instead of having to answer to the people. The percentage of people who don't vote in this country do so out of ignorance, laziness and/or despair, none of which can help the dire situation we have in America today.

RE: Who's Your Daddy!?

Well, cool chick in boston, you must understand that personally I'm not attempting to make a stand by voting. I'm simply looking at the candidates and see none that I would want for president, so I'm not voting.
How do you suggest I bring about a change in this situation?

RE: Who's Your Daddy!?

Yeah...I'm wondering the same thing. So when it comes down to it there will be two canidaits, neither of which I believe given all info would do anything to improve...well, anything. What do I do now? Nobody's even given me a good idea on what to do when the system doesn't work. So I just do my best to go to work, pay my rent, and save some money so I can get out. I'm not sure where I'll go, but at least I'll get to choose. lol, men and their dreams...

RE: RE: Who's Your Daddy!?

Well, for one thing, if some of the percent of non-voters had voted for Nader in 1996 or 2000, he could have gotten enough votes to meet the selection criteria for the CPD and been able to have a lot more exposure for the Green Party to the rest of the country. I agree that it is dire that this country only has 2 major party options for president - this will never be solved as long as everyone either votes democrat, votes republican, or doesn't vote at all (because what's the point, right?).

Instead of looking at your options as just either voting or not voting for president, you could also take a look and get involved in one of the many grassroots organizations out there. MoveOn.Org for example offers tons of ways you can take action - even if it is as simple as staying aware of issues and writing/calling/bombarding your representatives on specific single issues. The changes that you could aid may seem small, but as long as there are people out there willing to fight for change in any way they can, there is hope for progress in this country. If we as a nation make enough demands about individual issues, eventually surfacing candidates will have to listen to what the people want.
