Posted By: pascal dubois Posted On: Dec 24, 2007 Views: 111	three cheers for genevieve! i am a proud supporter of genevieve de fontenay. she is the classiest national director there is today and she tries her best to uphold elegance, grace and respect in beauty pageants. look at what donald trump and paula shugart have done to the miss universe pageant! the ladies are ditzy and shameless surgeical mishaps. in addition, their reality show is degrading and disgusting. they would rather make their queens look like idiots than make them appear as role models. on the other hand, fontenay only wants to maintain some level of dignity in pageantry. her ladies are asked to not have had any surgical procedures and they are also meant to sign a piece of paper, which states that they have not taken any lewd photos. begue signed this piece of paper, thus she is at fault and no one else, plain and simple. i applaude genevieve in her efforts to keep her pageant clean and lovely. have you people even seen the miss france pageant? it's the most creative, most visually appealing and the most classy pageant there is on the planet! it's more elegant and entertaining than the 'big 4' pageants combined and doubled! three cheers for genevieve for staying true to the miss france reputation and not joining the sell-outs!

"In a radio interview with Jean-Marc Morandini, De Fontenay stated that the first runner-up Vahinerii Requillart,19, of New Caledonia, MAY NOT necessarily succeed Bègue if she resigns or is dethroned." If the 1st runner-up is not going to get the crown then exactly who is? What's even the point of ranking the runners-up and semi-finalists in that case? This seems very fishy. It was evident that Fontenay did not like the results (just look at her facial expressions during the Miss France coronation) and I'm beginning to think that this is a plan devised by Fontenay to crown the lady whom she feels is "worthy" of the title. If Begue is canned and the 1st runner-up is not given the crown, SOMETHING IS DEFINITELY UP! Oh, by the way, AXE THE PRUNE!

Her Miss France Pageant isn't even the rightful one and she has cheated, lied, back-stabbed, and done anything and everything immoral and unethical to get what she wants. She's a 75 year old battle axe whose opinion is as stale as her Joker make-up. Not only is Fontenay a poor example of a role model and leader, she is also a flatout racist! Her remarks against Begue are uncalled for. Is this how a professional woman speaks in public? With such a filthy portipotty of a mouth? Now on to the photos themselves. Were these photos of Begue even nude? No! Valerie is fully clothes in all of them. She is not harming anyone or anything in the photos and her crusifiction pic is quite innocent looking compared to other representations I have seen. The yogurt/condensed milk shot is also suggestive but not down right degrading. It looks quite exotic and fits in with the island theme of nature, yet Begue is being threatened to quit or get canned. Compare this situation with Laetitia Bleger (Miss France 2004). Bleger posed topless in a men's magazine (after she was crowned!) and merely got suspensed for 6 months. Seems that the hat lady gave a lesser penalty to the Caucasian Miss France, despite the fact that Bleger's pictorals were far racier and more disrespectful to the Miss France image than Begue's. In addition, these photos go 3 years back in Begu's life. We all have pictures that we're not proud of and Valerie's aren't even that bad!
