| Posted By: Mindy Posted On: Jan 21, 2008 Views: 2234 | Colbert I find it hilarious how many people still don't get the Colbert's screen personality is all a joke. The rest of these people are just actors. It would take someone quick on their feet - like Colbert - to save the human race. |
| Posted By: JOE BLOW Posted On: Jan 19, 2008 Views: 2271 | WHAT INTELLIGENCE! Is Colbert even a screen personality? When I think of a screen personality I think of the movie screen or silver screen, not the tv screen! Colbert can't even save himself from his own overinflated ego. If the question was who would make the biggest joke out of the destruction of the human race, Colbert would be the guy alright, but I see absolutely nothing humorous about the destruction of the human race or all of the pain and suffering that would take place if such an event were to occur. Only a misguided moron like Colbert would find humor in that or would even want to or try to. Sadly we're much closer to it than most even realize! Sadder still is the stark reality that the planet and all of it's other inhabitants would be far better off if mankind would vanish off the face of this earth. Unfortunately the means by which that is likely to occur would also have profound and long lasting effects upon the planet and all other life forms. The planet would have been much better off if mankind had never sprung forth and evolved into the most intelligent, arrogant, selfish and greedy species on earth. We're not as smart as we give ourselves credit for being and by which we measure and compare the intelligence of all other species to our own. How many of them have threatened the very existance of all other lifeforms, including their own, as we ourselves have done? Frankly, as a species we're pretty damn pathetic and should be ashamed and humbled rather than being so eager to pronounce our species as being the highest intelligence on the planet and likely the universe as well. I think it's time that we changed the basic criteria by which we acknowlege and measure intelligence. I think a species intelligence should be measured by how long they manage to exist and thrive without driving themselves and half the other life forms on the planet into extinction. By that measure we don't even stack up against the dinosaurs, reptiles or most insects! And how many of them are dying prematurely in their prime from cancers and other diseases and/or being born with cancers or other diseases already raging in them? If they are you can bet it's from something that WE have introduced into the environment of the planet, into the water table and food sources that all rely upon for their survival. WE have done this, they haven't! So how intelligent are we now REALLY? If there are higher and more intelligent species in the universe, and if they are visiting our planet, our dimension, our time in some of these craft that we have come to know as UFO's or "flying saucers" as I am inclined to think they are in some cases, is it any wonder why they don't wish to make contact with us? Perhaps they have been here the entire time! Maybe they are the ones who built the great pyramids which still puzzle us as to their original builders, and perhaps they were so advanced intelligently that they moved into the deeper regions of our oceans and can come and go into outer space like we transit from one city to another. Whatever the case may be, is it any wonder why they keep their distance and do not wish to make contact with us, except perhaps for scientific study like we study other lifeforms on this planet? They are probably intelligent enough to know that if they interact with us as we would have them do, it would likely endanger them just as we endanger our own species with our own greed, arrogance and even our hatred, our jealousy and hatred for being so inferior to them perhaps? Just look how many are so fast and eager to deny them even with the thousands and thousands of sightings throughout our history! So fast to dismiss them that they don't have time to even look at and consider all of the evidence! There are none so blind as those who refuse to see, and none so deaf as those who refuse to hear! Yep we're pretty pathetic alright, but at least I'm wise enough to know that no man or woman will ever prevent us from destroying ourselves, especially no actor or actress from Hollywood or no politician or elected representitive in Washington, D.C. Most of them can't even handle their own lives much less save the planet or our species from our own reckless, wrongful, selfish and greedy behavior and conduct. NEVER HAPPEN! Not now; not EVER, except in some fantasy world where actors and politicians live! |

Jesse Ventura? I guess that the only problem is his being a Republican, but I could still see him waving the flag of democracy in front of the mutant hordes. |

| Posted By: Chris Posted On: Jan 14, 2008 Views: 1805 | Colbert actually dude who voted for Ford, sure Harrison is a cool guy, but Colbert has been in Strangers with Candy, and he is the only one with any idea on what 2 do with the world |

| Posted By: Andrew D Posted On: Jan 12, 2008 Views: 1805 | Colbert Maybe Colbert is on here because he is the only one we could actually trust with anything important. I mean who else on here has given Mike Huckabee a primary win just by appearing with him, and don't even say Chuck Norris because if it hadn't been for Colbert no one would even know Norris was supporting Huckabee. I think it is safe to say that were it up to the future of humankind that Stephen Colbert would give it the Colbert Bump. |
| Posted By: jon f Posted On: Jan 11, 2008 Views: 1756 | Vote Ford One of these is not like the others, how does Cobert get on this list? What hero has he played on TV or in movies? Did I miss the Daily Show episode where he slugged John Stewart? In fact if it hadn't been for the Daily Show hiring him, I doubt I would have ever heard of him. Harrison Ford has been a CIA agent, the president, a space hero, an searcher of lost religious artifact, and he always saves the day, saves the world, and gets the girl. |
| Posted By: Tom Posted On: Jan 10, 2008 Views: 1685 | Down with Colbert! My thoughts exactly. Isn't anyone else sick of this jackass? Stop voting for him! |
| Posted By: Matt Posted On: Jan 10, 2008 Views: 1635 | Colbert. No one let Stephen Colbert see this or it'll just be another segment on his show about how great he is. Im not saying I dont like him, I just am tired of hearing him say that he's great. |
| Posted By: Rebecca Posted On: Jan 10, 2008 Views: 1652 | Why Just One Woman? I had a similar converstation with a friend the other day and we mentioned Linda Hamilton and, OF COURSE Signourney Weaver. Angelina Jolie has the best outfit but isn't the only choice. But anyway, I picked Stephen Colbert and still would, but there ought to be more women here. |
