| Posted By: Madman Posted On: Jan 24, 2008 Views: 542 | Love of supermarkets My favorite store from the poll, and probably my favoritre out of every store, is the supermarket. When I was a kid I used to tag along with my father to the supermarket for the families weekly shopping session. I liked to go for many reasons. It was nice to get out of the house and go into the world(even if it was only down the road)and see a bunch of other people doing the same thing. I also liked the smells and toy isle, but those were only minor motives for going. The lobster tank was the big attraction and I loved just staring at them through the glass. It was a bittersweet moment because I enoyed watching them, but I also knew they were food and were going to be eaten sooner or later( possibly by me cause I love lobster!). I guess I owe it to nostalgia for my liking to the supermarket and to this day I still love to go there and more so than when I was young. |
