However, the someone else option is very appealing. I don't think the comic needs to delve in to a story line with a new person because I'd be more than happy to know more about the established characters. I'd much rather put Taiki through some angst and have Alex crushing on Nikki because you can't be around a brother for so long without at least noticing his sister. I'd do this so Taiki can watch the woman she wants most be rejected by her closet friend who doesn't really care. Just for sheer plot points, there would be turmoil between Nikki and Taiki and Nikki wouldn't even know why. Also Taiki couldn't swoop in and comfort Alex on the rebound without being predestined for major rejection because Nikki would probably of shared what happened, or rather what didn't happen, between them. Then again I am an angst loving evil person. One who feels too old to be reading this anyhow (Yes, I'm 24)! Or could it be our favorite web comic author is cruising our posts for ideas? Hmm, I love all the potential the story has and I enjoy reading your work. Keep it up! |

Although it pains me a great deal to think about things this way... but I have this feeling from the very beginning of the story that Taiki will never end up with Alex. From my perspective as a storyteller, Alex is more likely a catalyst to keep the story going... not its end result. I dunno... I truly hope that I'm wrong. Nevertheless, my inner voice convinced me that it ain't going to be Alex ever in this twisted life of mine, which means that it's very unlikely that Alex is having a crush on Taiki. I vote for Marco. |

I think it's someone she's not seen with all the time, and acts unlike herself. And I'm pretty sure there will be more hints in the future. ^^ And to screw with your head Taiki (real) might make Alex like a guy, and yet be affiliated with a girl, and be messing around with another guy in the meantime, and avoid a very suggestive girl and have an encounter with a creepy teacher. Of course this is a crazy thought made up by a guy at midnight. |
