The characters are well developed (There's another one) THINK. It won't kill you. I believe the sex scene should be longer. Of course, you have the peeps that can't understand it because these people can't understand a Star Wars plot. But sure as hell a four year old can. I saw Jumper in Orlando, the place was packed,the lines for Jumper unreal. Nobody wanted see the other same crap, or risk their paycheck on crap. All the black comedies yeah no thanks we've seen them before. What?! Or that insufferable romantic movie that they played the commercial over and over again. Everybody saw Jumper and loved it. Original and thank god there's another. Anyone could tell you that, even that four year old. |

I read the book before seeing the movie and in the book, you can really sympathize with David's character. In the movie, I never really understood why he was "different" from the other Jumpers, even though he kept saying he was. |

But the story line in this was weak and the editing was not great cause it just didn't flow as a story - not enough "meat" to the story and it needed sub plots or other twists and more depth to the relationships. More attention should have been paid to the storyline - it was hard to tell where he was or why he was there sometimes. Would like to have seen more back story as to how Hayden "got" the ability......like in Smallville where they show him as a baby and what all has shaped Superman into his character. The anticipation was so high I was let down - like the other person said. Definately was disappointed in Awake. I still think LIFE AS A HOUSE was Hayden's best role, best movie, best acting, hands down. Shattered Glass is a second. |

Actually, even if I didn't have expectations, I wouldn't like it either. The story's pacing keeps on fluctuating. The momentum's not maintained. T_T The main problem I see in the movie is the script. I'd watch the sequel, if there will be one, because of Hayden and not because of the story. I hope the next installment has a better script. |
