Bathroom reading

Good lord people that's what catalogs are FOR! Paging through them while on the pot. I keep a basket of catalogs in our main bathroom. Though I've been known to bring a book in tat I'm in the middle of. I'd be edgy in there without something to read. I mean, what if things take to long, I'd get BORED geesh!

bathroom reading

I have stuff in all of the bathrooms, even if it's just an old issue of Reader's Digest. But lately I have to MAKE time for such functions, so there isn't much reading going on. It's easier for me to read a book sitting on the recumbent bike at the gym. And I can do that for 30 minutes, but if I sit on the pot that long, my legs will go dead and I'll fall over when I try to stand up.

Not that it's happened before. I'm just sayin'.

in the bathroom

in our magazine rack sit 3 hand-held games: connect 4, solitaire and Yahtzee. as well as the issue of Curve Magazine that our wedding was featured in.

Wifey likes to read her national geographics. I prefer games to reading...

And yes, I frequently disinfect!

bathroom reading?

Sometimes I go in there just to get away from my husband and 3 sons....so having something to read is a bonus!

Mags in Bathroom

I think it's gross to sit on the toilet and read...who wants to smell their own ****? I do my business and get the **** out as fast as I possibly can...

Whenever I go to someone's house and see a basket of magazines in the bathroom, it grosses me out. It's just some strange reaction I have to it...the thought of someone sitting on their toilet taking a long ass 30 minute **** makes me not want to even use their toilet. LOLOLOLOL

free to read!

Sometimes my only time free from little ones and able to read a few pages in peace is on the pot!

Shhh I'm Hiding

I too will read labels while I am in there if I forget to take something with me. I have no room to leave a book in our bath, but I usually grab a magazine or whatever book I am currently reading to take in with me. I do keep a handheld solitaire game on the back of the toilet so I have something to do in there. The bathroom is my refuge. Where else can you hide from the kids? Mine always followed me in when they were small..and my youngest has been known to knock on the locked door to ask me if I know that the door is locked. Granted he was a lot younger then, but gee, I was hiding!

Reading

I have been known to read the ingredients on the can of hairspray in the absence of other reading material. C'mon, you know you've done it (or something similar)!

Bathroom reading

I don't and don't understand it, but then I almost never have to "get things moving"--it pretty much does it on its own.

I don't mind people reading in the bathroom at home because they can put the book down somewhere before they use the t.paper. But people who read AT WORK disgust me! They have to handle that reading material AFTER using t. paper and BEFORE they wash their hands (if they even wash)! So, Tim, if you take my paper into the head with you DO NOT give it back to me!

Confused

I just do not understand why read in the bathroom. I go in, do my thing and back out within less then 10 minutes. My boyfriend will sit in there for an hour or more. Why? Why? Why?

Peace & Quiet

I read in the bathroom because it's the ONLY time I sit down and relax. I do not need any help to "get things moving". Magazines are the best bathroom reading material because you can read an article in just a few pages, place the bookmark, and get on with life.
