Strat

I've seen the occasional sale and reasonable savings at the Stratosphere's shops, actually. The store selection is limited and nothing to write home about, but it's there.

Other than that, outlet shops and the Fashion Show. I'm still mixed on whether or not I like Town Square. The Disneyesque setting is simultaneously neat and a little bit off-putting.

Costco is your friend. Cheap bulk liquor and snacks. If they had hookers and blow, I'd get it there too.

Lee's Discount Liquor is also good but the thing that sucks about both are the limited hours.

Apple stores

No! Actually, there's now one at Town Square. I haven't gotten there yet, though I'm going to lunch down there Monday and will check it out.

We left off the Blvd Mall because it seemed the least likely local mall for tourists to go to. Also, I know at one point it was the biggest in Nevada, but now it's gross.

One more thing...

Is there still only one Apple Store that serves the entire Las Vegas Valley? That always drove me nuts when I went to UNLV.

My favorite

I always preferred the Boulevard Mall on Maryland Parkway.

the 99 cent sore, of course

I stop there first to load up on water, snacks and other stuff. the one on Flamingo is convenient enough after leaving the airport.
