What about women artist concerts?

For me, it's either Ciao Italia (Madonna), Live at Royal Opera House (Björk), or Trust (Ani Difranco).

Anyone have any other female-led concert films that were their faves?

Spinal Tap

I wish Spinal Tap counted. No concert tops a drummer spontaneously combusting on stage. Even if it is fiction.

Favorite concert film

Monterey Pop is my favorite concert film. It captures the whole era of the Summer of Love and is still relevant today.

The Last False

Let us not forget that many segments of The Last Waltz were overdubbed after the fact...except for Levon's drumming and singing.

documentaries vs. concert films

FYI: This poll is for concert films, not documentaries. We may cover the latter in a future poll, though.

Poll: What is your favorite concert film?

How about "I Am Trying To Break Your Heart"? That was easily one of the best documentaries on a band I've ever seen.
