How did we get the status of the redneck state? Were not Southern, ****, country music doesn't come from here. So I'm just wondering. Whenever I watch the news it seems that most of the country is redneck. What does it even mean to be redneck now? I hate Nascar (oooh, look at us, we drive identical cars around a purpose built circle) I don't drink cheap beer, I never did understand the rebel flag thing (hello, you lost, and lost bad, way back in 1865), I don't see a trailer as a permanent home (anything that blows away in a storm seems a bad idea to me, but WTF do I know). Am I a redneck just because of where I live? Is that how it works? |

It is easier at the beach because I can hide under the sand and dig a hole that leads to my mouth. When a little kid slides down the hole, they are mine...LOL..like an Ant Lion. |

I think it's more of an inbred incestuous backwoods Appalachian, moonshine-brewin', shotgun-totin', revenuer-hatin', drunker-n-a-skunk, Elvis-in-a-UFO-sightin' thang anyway. Not to make sweeping generalizations about people or anything like that. All I know is, if I were from West Virginia, I'd keep it under my hat. Or my John Deere cap, actually. |
