Weight Capacity & towing speed of trailer

To: Susan Watkins:

Don't know if you ever got your question answered, but the Prowler trailer is capable of hauling 2 kegs of beer covered in ice at freeway speeds....or when my wife & I travel with it, we normally pack it with at least two to three suitcases for her and one for me, then I always have my "bucket of car cleaning supplies" along with a 50 ft. hose as you are never guaranted that where you stop, you will find water redally accessable to wash your car. I also have the car & trailer covers folded in the trailer plus a couple of folding camp-chairs. I've never weighed everything, but the kegs of beer sure as hell arn't light, nor is the ice. I havn't looked in the manues that came with the trailer, but you can safely tow 500 lbs or so, and do so at freeway speeds. Be sure to have equal air pressure & correct air pressure in the tires, cross the safety chains under the trailer tounge before hooking onto the hitch and it's a good idea to get a padalock and lock the trailer latch down so theres no way it can come loose by accident. Also, it's a good theft deterent to keep that latch lever looked down ALL THE TIME---even when parked overnight somewhere. Good luck and have fun.

Weight for a trailer

How much weight can a trailer hold and how fast can it go on the highway

Trailers

I try to take the trailer out just about everytime I cruise with the car. NOTHING sets this car off like the trailer. It is like the ULTIMATE accessory.
It is so unique, people are constantly gaping and pointing and asking EVEN MORE questions when they see that trailer.
All that and its a CASH COW!! Its appreciating in value faster than the car at this time. The fact that its so rare even makes it special amongst Prowler owners too.
Many Prowler owners have done FANTASTIC jobs customizing their trailers.

Trailers

I would love to have a trailer, but the price is stopping me from doing so and then there would be the lack of space to store it if I was lucky enough to get a trailer.. So I guess that makes me TRASH with out a TRAILER... onecatnodog

Trailers

The first few years we had our trailer we used it very often. Both for long distance Prowler events and going to local shows. The past few years we have been trailering our Kat to Prowler LD events and the number of shows we attend during the spring through fall has decreased dramatically. There just does not seem to be enough time anymore. For example we have only been to two this year and the trailer has only been out once. Still even on the now ever growing more rare ocassions we do attend shows or cruise nights, we still usually prefer to take the trailer. Like the Kat we have modified the trailer. It has custom paint, a third brake light on the deck, tailight and third light cat shimmers, polished tongue, a purple bra and under body purple neon

I use both my trailers just about every time we take the cars out to shows.

Rarely Use It

Although I rarely use my trailer I also rarely use my prowler. I'm in Korea, so I don't get home that often. However, the two times I've been home, I used the trailer often.
