I flew AM only once but never again. I fully concur with those who have had bad experience flying AM. It puzzles me why those glorified waitresses in the sky feel the need to display childish arrogance to Mauritian travellers.It can only be inferiority complex that is never evident from BA crew. One can only assume inferior training in customer relations given to AM's crew or plain non-existance vanity which rings hollow to travellers like me. By the way I send between 6 & 12 tourists every fortnight to MU and they all fly with BA. Just think of the loss to AM. |

I am mauritian and I think that you do feel "at home" and well at ease as soon as you enter the airbus of our national airline. The staff are all Mauritians and I have always found them vey polite and always courteous. The choice of entertainment offered is always good and the food is ok considering that meals offered on aeroplanes are not usually that good. Air Mauritius is currently going through a financial crisis and it depends on all Mauritians for their support and in the future, I will only use the airline whenever I do travel to the island. |

The only drawback are those customers who keep moving around for no reason also those drunk who make a fool of themselves. |

The stewards are pleasant and they treat you as paying guess. Unlike Air Mauritius the attitudes of the attendants on air, they think they are superior than the paying guess, customers who pay their wages, Most of them are black or brown but this is Mauritian service to you. I stopped travelling by air Mauritius a long time ago. I travel twice a year to mauritius.Any thoughts from travellers? |

But for me my experience with Air Mauritius was brillant, good food, nice and warm welcome and most of all a fantastic atmosphere. Its all about not being the moaners like us Mauritian, and stop complaining for nothing. Air Mauritius is top, everything needs innovation of course, and i'm sure it will come for Air Mauritius as well, but at the minute its fantastic... keep it up! |

They do not take good care of them , infact they are being ignored and their attention are always given to the english and other foreigners... Also they should NOT attempt to speak french with the elderly Mauritian Gentlemen and ladies who are not able to communicate effectively . These are , my feedback from my friends and relatives who have travelled by Air Mauritius in the past. I get 100% respect and attention in British Airways. |

Air stewards and hostesses are both great. I wouldnt choose any other airline should i have to travel to Mauritius again. |
