Ametuer-Owner-Handler class

I think this is an excellent class to provide a place for new owner/handlers to develop their skills and not have to compete against professional handlers or experienced owner/handlers. The novice class is also a good place to develop, but I believe that is for a novice dog and a professional handler can handle or an experienced owner/handler can handle in that class. It is rarely used. This new class is a good place for a newbie to start and then move up to Novice Dog and then into the big time!

Who will enforce

Their is owner handlers thats showed more years than pros and IMO are considered a pro.Who will know whos really an owner handler and whos showed 30 years and have done others dogs in the past?I think if they are going to hve this clss it should have some limit as to how many years theyve handled their own or how many theyve finished or something if its really for newbie owner handlers.

New class

Think this may help the "newby" owner handler who hasn't the skill or confidence of a seasoned handler to gain confidence, showing in a class like that.

new class

I will handle in this class. It is similar to Novice except there is not limit to win so long as the dog is not a Ch. I think it is nice to have a place for owner/hanlders to show in.

It seems like the Novice class was the same thing..Very few handlers show in the Novice class.

New class?

What does this class have to do with dog competition? Sounds like it's more for the beginner to learn in, like a match. On the other hand, it does help increase entries, thus helping to build majors. ??? Maybe it evens out that way?
