I've been selling silver coin on eBay for years. I buy directly from the mints, or registered mint distributors. All coins I sell are genuine, and I guarantee that. I also buy on eBay and have never had a problem. I've bought 5 oz Chinese Luna coins in Zinc, and know what they are. Display specimens only.But be aware. Price is a guide. Be careful. |

Imagine my surprise when I found that Tibetan silver is a mostly if not completely Sterling- free alloy of tin, pewter,maybe a pinch of SILVER!! Oh yeah, possibly lead to grind your teeth on. I am disappointed in P.A./Vortal for selling such Chinese ripoff scam stuff, do they Know about it? I promise I will find out tomorrow! Watch yourself out there... |

You cannot even buy early American silver dollars without wondering if they are fakes anymore.And,they look extremely authentic! I would say it's a safe bet that 98% of the silver coins & bullion on eBay,ioffer, and other sales forums are fake. With the amount of problems,fakes and dangerous personal consumption junk China makes anymore,why do we still continue to do business with them anymore? As for me,I am just going to boycott everything silver,gold or any other precious metal from China as well as avoid buying as much as I can of home use items from China.That means closely scrutinizing everything I buy form any store. Absolutely disgusting and very dishonorable. |

I have the same silver coin labeled 50Y, weighs 10%more, wonder if it's real? Ebay awarded the buyer who I sold the fake to unwittingly, I would have refunded him anyway. But he sent me back an empty envelope, uninsured, no delivery confirmation, and two USPS stickers labeling it empty or damaged. The case is still open, I suppose because he can't demonstrate he returned it, although paypal gave him his money back. The automated dispute system doesnt allow you to make a fair resolution, I doubt anyone reads them! So I don't even have a nice fake for my collection; I'm hoping ebay will somehow award me that much, the postage and value of the fake. Not holding my breath though; but it's a good sign the case has been kept open 2 weeks. |

I saw on this site, the same fake replicas that I bought. I contacted the seller and ebay filed a complaint with thier Resolution center, that the product does not match discription or illustration, asked the seller to cancel the deal or I would apply for arbitration with ebay. They rescinded the deal that same day. I was lucky, be careful...some sellers are selling fake replicas....Thanks |
