Not because he was a dude, but 'cause I don't trust Hillary. So yes I have to say I am glad America saw through my origional hesitation and am glad to say I voted Obama.

They were supporting Obama from day 1 and figured that they knew more about who we should vote for than we did. So they gave us one sided news. And the people too lazy (which is a good deal of the country) to find several sources of news and compare opinions to facts voted exactly the way the liberal media told them to.

The RNC sent me lots and lots of fliers saying Obama was bad. They called my phone and sent me emails. Now why would they lie? They wouldn't. As further proof, Rush Limbaugh and Fox news all agreed. Might as well etch it in stone. Sure, I could have done a lot of independent research and found that the Ayers claim was really a non-issue that was used to create fear. I could have looked into the Rizzo claims and found out from the former home owner that there was nothing unusual about the home purchase and that the vacant lot had multiple offers making it impossible for some sort of fix. I suppose I could have looked into his past, his upbringing, his politics and found that he is actually more aligned to the center (something people, both R and D are saying now that the election is over). But what would have been the point. If it is contrary to what the Republicans were saying, it has to be BS. You know what the cool thing about being a crazed lunatic is? It is being able to be say some of the stupidest things to come out of a human's mouth and lambaste anyone that disagrees as a "kool-aid" drinker all the while keeping a straight face. I get the added benefit of being able to make completely baseless predictions about the future without being held to task when they fail. Who remembers all my rabid rants I made days before the election where I predicted McCain would easily win, the polls were wrong, America was changing their mind, I guaranteed it. So when I make a prediction for 90 days, you better take that to the bank.

All the rest just kiss the Democrats ass and report every bad thing they can find on McCain and Palin. OK, maybe not everything. Like they never really mentioned McCain finishing at the bottom of his Navy class. They didn't mention he managed to keep his flight wings after crashing 3 planes, not counting the one he was shot down in or the one that blew up on deck even though anyone else would have lost their wings after the first one. They didn't cover how he spend most of his pre-capture Navy career getting drunk and screwing anything he could. There wasn't any coverage on how he jumped out of his burning plane and ran below deck to watch his ship burn on closed circuit TV while his fellow shipmates risked and lost their lives trying to save it or how a few days later he left with a reporter to "get some much needed R & R" as he put it. They didn't cover how he then once again used his "son and grandson of 4-star generals" status to pull strings to get him stationed aboard another ship so he could get some combat, not to serve the country but to further his attempts to become Admiral. No mention how he made calls to get on the bombing run that eventually led to his capture. They didn't report about how he told his captures who he was so he could get better treatment (a violation) and how claimed great sacrifice of turning down freedom to stay with his fellow men was BS since it was offered to every POW in exchange for them denouncing the US. Had he done that we would have been dishonorable discharged. No mention about how he married a trophy wife who waited for him the whole time he was captured only to have him reject her after she was in a bad car crash causing her to lose 6" of her legs. He then had an affair with his current wife for 9 months before getting a divorce. They didn't cover how he became good friends with Keating and how him and his new wife went on vacation with him every year or how Keating helped Mrs. McCain invest money with questionable legality or how that was kept out of the Keating 5 investigation. They didn't cover how he managed to suppress the investigation into his wife's drug abuse until she could go on TV and "confess in order to help others". They never went in to how he bullied the FCC to get his buddy a license approval. They didn't look into his non-profit organization that is funded by all his lobbyist buddies. They didn't ask anything about his flip-flops on nearly every position he has held including his staunch opposition to torture but then his flip after a private meeting with GW. No coverage on how he flew off the handle and called his wife a stupid **** because she teased him about his thinning hair. Of course it is important to remember the only sources for all this were first hand accounts, public records, and McCain's own books. It is so obvious how they forced everyone to vote for Obama. Yea, they did jump on every wacky Republican claim and report it ad nauseum. Palin says he is a socialist and everyone talks about him being a socialist for a week. Palin says he is friends with an anti-isreali terrorist and all you hear about is Kalid. They barely mentioned McCain chaired a group that granted him $500K though. I think I have made it clear just how the liberal media was so one sided here. Before any of you even start, I am not interested in hearing your "facts" or opinions. I make up my own facts and I create my own reality. You either accept it or you are drinking Kool-Aid.

I actually took a minute out of my day to read it, because, as you said, one needs to get all the facts. Now maybe we can make some progress on that White Liberal Guilt burden you've been carrying.
