He needs to get his party off their welfare asses and get to work. Can't ride the coat tails anymore and they blame anyone except for themselves for this mess. I've been around long enough to know when something's not quite right with the whole deal. So, I can't speak for others here, and I do acknowledge that this was a great moment in our history, being the first black (or half-black, if you prefer) president, which is very exciting... but it should have been someone else, with more experience, and I'd have prefered someone who's views were more closely aligned with my own. As far as what happens over the next four years... we'll see.

I may not know anything about economics, national defense, the basics of a three branch government, foreign policy, or grammar but I do know how to be a total asshole. Since the vast majority of what you just said comes from the Democratic talking points playbook, I realize it's futile to expect any type of reasonable discussion from you. In case you hadn't heard- your candidate won. That does NOT mean that anybody that didn't vote for him (like 48% of the country- go ahead, make an issue of that number if it's off)is just going to lie down and let Mr. Obama get away with all kinds of stuff without calling him on it- you know, the way you guys did with Bush. Ironic how you guys expect everybody to get all lovey-dovey with a candidate who is completely at odds with everything the Republicans stand for, when you were whining and crying for years after the last two elections. Instead, expect fierce resistance to any of Mr. Obama's more controvertial plans. You already know what they are.
