RE: First

There's nothing wrong with being gay... I dunno why morons like you still think it's an insult.

RE: First

Don't call me a moron when you know nothing about me. And I agree, there's nothing wrong with being homosexual. There's a difference between being a gay person and being a faggot, just as there is a difference between merely having black skin and being a n*gger. Figure it out.

RE: First

Now we're getting into semantics. If you want to insult someone for whatever reason, why would you use either of those words at all? It just gives the impression of ignorance.

RE: First

I know this sounds stupid, but personally, I don't believe in semantics. Yeah there are dictionary definitions of everything but aside from words like spoon or printer or cat, it seems to me everyone has their own definitions of words based on things that they experience and the people speaking around them. Because everyone has totally different experiences, semantics is obsolete [I think that's gramatically correct even though it doesn't sound like it]. And I used the word faggot because I hate censorship and beating around the bush. I can go on and on like in this message or I can sum up the whole idea with one negative or positive connotation. Yes, based on the word[s] used, the message could imply ignorance to one person or make someone else go "Right on!" in his or her head, again rendering semantics obsolete.
