| Posted By: beans Posted On: Dec 6, 2008 Views: 277 | CAKE's "Love Charm"? Hey y'all - I signed up for "Genius" on iTunes and it directed me to a song supposedly by CAKE called "Love Charm." It sounds so totally nothing like CAKE and I was wondering if this was some weird experiment on the part of the band (to make bad 80's pop) or, as is more likely, iTunes is screwed up. And if it's the latter, should I send an exasperated email to Steve Jobs? |

It's not in any way, shape, or form CAKE or anything like it. iTunes most likely didn't screw up either, and it's not worth contacting Steve. It's probably just some band on a compilation album or something, the kind of band you hear of once and never anywhere else again. Just that one song. |

The song you are referring to was performed by the band "Cake Like", and is on iTunes as part of a very strange compilation called "Great Jewish Music: Marc Bolan". Feel free to complain to iTunes, but i doubt it will get anything done. I noticed the same thing two years ago, and apparently it's still the same. |
