Bla bla bla bla. But I digress. Bla bla bla bla.

RE: Digress

"I digress" is street lingo for college professors. It seems to have gained popularity within the last few years. During discussion, they may get off the subject at hand and catch themselves by the term "I Digress". I've noticed that if you have more than one speaker at a class/talk and the first professor says "I Digress" it goes on with the rest of the professors and will last all day. I think there should be a course offered on "I Digress" history and terminology and why it is said.
