I think Todd should get some real help to deal with who he was, who he is now and if and how to redeem himself. I do believe people can change for the better, given the support and help that is needed. I do speak from experience. I do love the actor, but not the direction the writers are putting him in. But, that's soapland!

Cut the imposter loose or kill "it" off. Todd Manning doesn't love woman and the writers should know Todd Manning is not a weak, whiney, crybaby love sick idot. The character written since RH left is nothing like the real Todd Manning.

I wasn't watching when the character was on before, but so far, especially in court, she's interesting. I didn't like what she did to Sarah in front of Chris and Vanessa, but that aside, I'm finding the chemistry between her and Todd very interesting. I also missed the earlier history of Todd and Marty, so I can only judge them currently and I LOVE the chemistry between these two actors. When Todd was saved from Death Row, THIS was the opportunity in time to mature and grow this character, but it never happened. He continued to do the same ol' same ol' and it's boring and unrealistic. Most human beings grow and at least TRY to correct some of their mistakes and AMC and OLTL have not allowed their characters and relationships to grow and mature. Also, I want to see some diversity in personalities, race and culture. There are a lot of different and interesting people out here (GH's Spinelli for example - BTW, I don't watch GH). I LOVE Trevor and I am fast becoming a fan of Ms. Haskell and unfortunately (though it's been interesting and riveting), the writers have somewhat written them into a corner. I like John and Blair together, but John and Marty are interesting too. I REALLY wanted to see Todd and Evangeline. TIIC really blew it when they let Renee go. That was the most STUPID move I've ever seen. I guess Black people don't watch soaps and don't want to see an intelligent Black woman on TV? Evangeline is the ONE and ONLY person that could have influenced Todd for good and change. What a waste! This is why I am not fully watching this show on a regular basis. I also stopped taping it and AMC, though AMC is a MILLION times worse than OLTL.

I remember watching the aftermath of that rape and crying. So, when the writer's decided to have Marty lose her memory and actually sleep with Todd. I stopped watching once again. I can't believe that the writer's let this happen. It's sad that knowing how brutal Marty's rape was that fans can actually be rooting for them to become a couple. Todd has done some aweful things. From raping Marty to his plan to kidnap his own grandchild. It's really bother's me that the writer's have allowed Todd to get away with so much. Todd really does hate women. The fact that Tea is standing there defending him shows such a lack of respect for women. Her character reminds me of women who in real life would fall in love and end up marrying men in prison. This after knowing the horrible things that these men have done from rape to murdering their wives. I keep reading where fans hate John so much. But, they have no problem defending a rapist thug like Todd. I get that fans will like who they like. And, they will defend them no matter what. But, sometimes there are things that character's will do that can't be defended. Todd is one of those character's. Nothing he has done can be defened.

She was always flirting with him and running to him everytime she needed a shoulder to cry on. She would come to Luke's disco and flirt and play kissie-face but she was married to Scotty, who knew she had feelings for Luke but was trying to keep her in the marriage. Laura had strong desires for Luke. One night she wanted to be with Luke she lied to Scotty and went to Luke's club. While they were dirty dancing and making out, Luke took her down to the floor, while dancing and forced sex onto her. She fought him some and cried but he continued as the music played. The audience never saw much more than that. Todd brutally raped Marty, he held her down, stuffed a dirty cloth in her mouth as she screamed and afterwards egged his buddies on to rape her as he stood there laughing, watching and wanted her to hurt.

The gloified rapist is making the show disgusting in every way and is insulting to woman and long time viewers. Of course the rapist/murderer never pays. One could tune in two years from now and watch him cry his little eyes out all the while torturing his kids, assulting teens, trying to beating up girls or attemping to rape all those woman that should be grossed out by his perverted sick ways. OL is now a wasteland of woman with-out self respect.

We all the stuff that he's done over the past few weeks. And, people still want them together. Tea is a stupid bitch. If she does end up with Todd I hope he rips her heart out. She would deserve it. It's time for Todd to pay for the things he's done.
