As a result, I hereby declare the TOP 10 MOMENTS OF THE STRIP PODCAST 2008: 10. Steve Friess buries the hatchet with P-Ho owner Robert Earl, and Earl promotes the P-Ho and announces an informal aquistion Buca di Beppo, 9. Steve Friess' interview Mayor Goodman; and in turn, the Mayor shows his Crocs to Steve at his desk and "throne" at City Hall, 8. Elaine Wynn's reasons why she voted for Obama and explains her public "drag-down" political feud with her husband, 7. Tony Crutis interview; hardcore stuff, wow..., 6. Sheldon Adelson tells Steve that he once offered Steve Wynn a job at The Interface Group (pre LV Sands Corp.)to design and plan hotels. Also, in the same interview, he thinks Wynn's jealous of him, 5. Wynn,responing to Adelson's boast of a job offer, calls him "delusional," and states that Sheldon "is off his medication," 4. Troy in Las Vegas serenading to Miles to a re-worked rendition of the theme song from TV's The Courtship of Eddie's Father, staring the late Bill Bixby; this was in repsonse if he (Troy) had tons of money, and finally... 1.Crazy Ron from Michigan declaring a brand new attraction for Las Vegas.....a vintage 1950's Hemi-powered Chrysler Air Raid Siren to be put on the Strip or Downtown if ol' Ron had a lots of cash; Miles and Steve are totaly baffled.

The previous commenter was right in that Bobby Slayton should have also been on the list. Perhaps one of the Wynn moments that comprise a demanding 1/3 of the entire list could have been replaced by Slayton. I would also suggest the Guy Lalibrte interview where he praised Believe that has become a bigger stinker than it started out as.

Terri Lanni for his interview at the time (about half a year before his quick resignation). Kerry Simon/Charlie Trotter. Cool restauranter/chefs plus I favor them as a former Chicagoan. Eddie Izzard as my fav entertainer on the show this year. Bobby Slayton for being the overlooked foul mouth prior to the Tony Curtis two parter. Norm Clarke, needs more time on the mic to polish his speaking skills but love the quip that Steve got the interview he would have loved to have from Tony Curtis. Elaine Wynn, the lady behind the man. Shelly Berkeley and her surgery. The little video of Steve playing and seeing the mistakes of the Surface product at iBar@Rio (only because I'm a geek). The interview that would have been interesting: Heidi Fleiss around the time the HBO special came out. I'm all for prostitutes and madams (cause I'm a male breeder). Guess we'll have to switch to This Ain't Iowa for that kinda stuff (notiowa.com for those looking for a website).
