| Posted By: Ray Posted On: Jun 24, 2009 Views: 247 | No more $ to Obama Well now we are getting back at him for now dealing with our issues. It's not that he has to do it all at once. It's just that you don't go behind our backs and allow the department of justice to insult our lives. You just don't do that after promising so much to our community and after me, for instance, having donated so much to his campaign. I'm not donating more, not until I see results. Ray in CT |

His promises are empty promises. His rhetoric was just that of a motivational speaker who wanted his CDs sold and now that he has what he wants (the money for his CDs), he does not care for the results. He is and was only a good salesman, he sold his products "lies" to the LGBT people, and then ran with it. It's just "more of the same" BS. What a big disappointed Mr. Obama has become. |
| Posted By: Jen Posted On: May 17, 2009 Views: 194 | When will he begin? It's too soon to really see how President Obama will follow through on his promises to the LGBT community. However, I don't see that an effort has been made to even begin working on it. I understand that these things take time, and you can't expect results overnight, but you need to at least make a start, make some kind of beginning effort. Where is President Obama's beginning effort? I think we're beginngng to fear that our needs and concerns have been put on the back burner for "more important" issues. I know that the economy needs help, but aren't we part of the economy, too? Don't we work and pay taxes, too? I guess my real question is, if not now, when? |
| Posted By: Rudy Posted On: May 12, 2009 Views: 148 | Obama, Oh Foolus! Yeah right, and he's also working on Don't Ask Don't Tell and on working on the economy! I just haven't seen much of his work come to fruition yet. Let's see and wait for healthcare reform. I smell at his pace he'll be working on the same issues, trying to run for a second-term. Sure, give the man an A for smarts. |
| Posted By: Jeff Posted On: May 10, 2009 Views: 150 | Not a chance President Obama has changed already his stance on LGBT rights. He did so when he changed his own website about what he was willing to do for our community before vs now. How can he not believe in politics and play politics, when this is exactly what he is doing now? You don't promise a large number of Americans civil rights they are entitled to, to then get their vote and turn around and take his promises back. That makes him a politician, not a good president. I wish I could take my vote back, for I would. Way to go "Mr. President!" |
