Kyle's bird

Jon - please tell the class what you thought of Kyle's bird when you bumped into him on his date last night. Thanks!

MOTM

Well done to everyone involved in the game last night it was a cracker considering the heat.

I would have prob went for Andy for MOTM for his finishing last night which was excellent but he made me very angry but coming out the box to save my shot near the end so i opted for Mark.

Thought both him and Robert played well last night and the goal mark scored when he was racing jon for the ball and just managed to get there ahead of him typified his effort levels for the whole game.

Well done to my team for battling back from being a few goals down on more than 1 occasion.

Thought a draw would have been a fair result last night given the efforts on both sides it would have been gutting to lose.

High five for kyle too for managing to pass when he should have most of the time ;-)

Like sooking soup

That was what my attempts to breathe were like last night.

Yeah, it was a bit of an epic last night.

Thought Robert and Marc both looked lively, fitted in well and caused problems, but it was a decent showing all round and a lot of extra effort went in when the game got really tight towards the end. Especially from Stevie who was making tackles to win and keep possession right up to the end. So, I'm giving my man of the match to the man who didn't have the energy to dress himself after the game.

(No, I didn't help him.)

Hot, Hot, Hot !!

Great game last night gents, even though it felt like a 100 degree's. Im glad to see i wasnt the only one struggling out there.

I thought the game was played at a very fast pace considering the heat & made for some great 1 touch football & some great finishing (not on my part I have to say which I apologise to my team mates for)

In the end I thought a draw was a fair result as both teams put in a hell of a shift.

There were some players that seemed to have that extra bit in their tank last night who were Marc, Robert & Stevie. I went for Marc as my MOTM as he was the new guy coming in & did a great job with his running, passing & as Stevie said a great finish!!

Lets hope its a little cooler next week !!

Good effort lads

Good competitive game last night with evenly matched sides.

Despite the heat, eveyone made a great effort inturning into quite an exciting end to end game.

a draw was probably the right result.

Steve had another good game and was the driving force behind the mincers. I thought the new boys Marc and Robert played really well and thats why Ive gone for Marc as MOTM this week. Thought he showed some nice touches and overall was solid in defence and attack....

MOTM

Marc for me this week because of some good goals and last minute tackles.

I could have voted for rob but he thought it was a good idea to chuck the game away right at the end.

i was pish.

darned hot

was really rather warm last night yet somehow we managed to put together quite a fine game. the tatties seemed to get away from us a couple of times but all credit to our boys for clawing our way back each time.

like most folk, i was torn between marc and robert - but plumped for robert in the end.

bravo to all though for their efforts. a draw is the right result (even though it's technically the wrong result).

MOTM

Well it was a tough introduction to battle of mince vs. tatties and required rapid rehydration when I got home.

Cheers for letting me borrow your top Kyle, that was definitely the difference in my performance! Its still drying from last night but I'll get it back to you asap – after washing it of course.

I thought Steven was man of the watch as he kept managing to drag his team back into the game despite us probably thinking we had put the game out of their reach. In the end they may have sneaked it but will just have to take a morale victory instead.

Anger management

Suffocating heat on monday but seemed to be a pretty even and ultimately an enjoyable game. I thought robert was a shoo in for motm until he gave the ball to big steve whilst in goals near the end. I'll will give my motm to steve which hopefully will help in relieving some of his anger....
