Carrying a gun makes more sense today, than it did in the "not-so-Wild" West. Softheaded lefties always use the "Wild West" trope, because they don't think history matters and so don't bother to ever actually learn anything. People who qualify for carry permits commit crimes at a significantly lower rate than the general population. And the people you don't want carrying, are going to carry whether it's legal or not. |
