General or No General...

We have seen over the years how good governance is a matter of individual perception and representation of policies that represent the people in question.
Prior to the Comrade election to power, his predecessor had "basterdized" the state with absolute no regard to the people. Yet, I did not see the people revolt, challenged or reject his salvage policies; or maybe they did but were violently repressed.
Today, we can all attest to the good dramatic changes that has taken place in Edo State with the exit of greedy PDP stalwarts and their fix-ups. Not that AC can not do better but such positive actions can only be achieved with the total support of the people.
Unless the Edo People are a cursed generation who does not appreciate good, the appointed General who does not represent the people but to the one who FIXED him up. The Comrade is answerable to his people and that make a big difference in effective governance.
This is NOT a question of Parties (PDP or AC), it is who bears the flag that matters. Don't get FIXED but get the COMRADE!

celebrating people

The article celebrating Nigeria is very rich and timely. Our nation at this time needs issues that will add to her development. We congratulate SOLSA[ society for life support and advancement ] on the great leap the have taken.
Let us as a people learn the art of appreciating one another and when necessary celebrate them. May God heal our people of actions and thoughts that are not development oriented.God bless NIGERIA.

A PASSIONATE APPEAL.

Dear mr chairman,i really want to thank you for your visit to Uzea.I am a full son of Ukuaza-uzea, but one can hardly proclaim that he/she hails from Uzea considering the situation on ground. The people are living in abject poverty and wallowing in penury. To say that there is infrastructural decay is even an understatement. Successive administration have come and gone in Edo state but nothing to show for it.
Mr chairman, i want to use this medium to apeal to you onbehalf of the entire Uzea sons and daughters that we need a sence of belonging.I am quite aware that Rome was not built in a day but, if you can attract good thing to the land now, then it forms a basis for others to build on.
Before i go let me say congratulations for your new appointment.
LONG LIVE UZEA, LONG LIVE ESAN LAND AND LONG LIVE EDO STATE.
Aruokhai Fidelis; Warri.

SUG's endorsement of OSHIOMHOLE for re-election

I thank all members of SUG for their initiative. To you, i say you're wise to know who a good governor is. The truth is, if you refuse to be bought and duped by a dubious politician, there's nothing they can do to hold you down to underdevelopment.

It was edo people who voted lucky. They voted him a second time, when with their eyes open they knew he did absolutely nothing in his first 4years!. Our well loved Comrade Adams Oshiomhole loves his state, and it's people. We shouldn't fail to thank him always for this love which by consequence, generates the motivation for the development that is visible today in edo.

God shall protect him from the enemies of edo people. When people resort to assassination to capture political positions to controle the state's allocation, they do so desperately because they want to steal the state's financial resources. Such useless people can be denied access to governorship, very easily, when the voters have a consciousness for development, and not bribes from election candidates. Nelson Mandela said, 'you will be free, when you decide to be free.'

Edo people only need to decide to be free from the likes of lucky of pdp, then it is the likes of dear Comrade Adams Oshiomhole who you shall have, and in 20years of a sustained ACN's spirit for development, edo will compare to europe!

madness with power

The army officer and his boys who have shown so much madness and abuse of power should be made to pay for their sin. It is high time we started treating live with respect in this country. Beating a family man to death because of probably a minor dent on a car is unacceptable and the full weight of the law should be meant to bear with the perpetrators.

BUS DRIVER BEATEN TO DEATH BY SOLDIERS.

These soldiers have taken the laws into their hands by beating a poor bus driver to death because of minor motor accident. The provost marshal of the Nigerian Army in Benin should bring the soldiers involved to orderly-room trial and be brought to criminal justice, if found wanting.
