CarJack

I agree with what summer said. These two are the super couple of this show always has been always will be. It has been so great to see them sharing scenes together again. Now if tptb will just keep their paths crossing more and more. Can't wait to see them interact with their kids again. A for the journey that Jack took I rather enjoyed it especially after Carly showed up to join him. These two just proves over and over again that they are far better with each other than they are with other people.

Carjack Rocks

I applaud ATWT writers for listening to the fans and showing characters the audience cares about and especially for realizing that Michael and Maura Jack and Carly are the bread and butter of this show...They are magic and its only just begun!

The Writers Need to Take a Trip...

...and never come back! The writing on ATWT is cheesy and has been so for a LONG time.

Having Jack go on the "journey" is not compelling television. Why did they recast the character of Mike Kasnoff last year and then bring back Mark Collier for only a brief glimpse? Odd. There are too many other bizarre storyline and casting decisions to list.

Why don't they try to lure back Larry B. to play John Dixon again? How about some other vets that might come back if the writing and production were improved?

Young viewers DO want to see the vets and are smart enough to know stunt casting and one-dimensional characters played by "starter" actors when they see them.

The problem with ATWT is bad decisions...period. The show has been through multiple identity crises...and is unrecognizable. It will be great to have Helen Wagner (Nancy) back for Thanksgiving, but the temporary "window dressing" doesn't compensate for the permanent view...and the disrespect to a long-time actress and loyal, faithful viewers who continue to tune out.

Jack's trip

I still can't believe that this idiocy is how TPTB plan to draw viewers in and save this show from oblivion. If I were watching this, I would be utterly embarrassed for myself.

jack's journey's

Jack's "here-I-come-to-save-the-day" journey across the country is both incredibly lame and incredibly cheesy. And, insulting to fans. I realize that Jack is grieving but swan-diving off a roof with Ben Franklin? Really? Is this the best professional writers can do? Winning an auto race? Again, really? When has Jack ever been a race car driver? Seriously, if it was the caliber of race that JACK could have won--Mike, an experienced race car driver, could have won it on his deathbed, for goodness sake.

I've never liked the character of Jack (or Carly, for that matter). If they both got into a racecar and died in a fiery crash--then we'd have something. (And, they can take Janet and her sister, Liberty, Parker and wishywashy Lily right along with them.)
