You know I am really amazed that soaps have such crappy ratings given how many people allow them to control their lives to the point that they don't care about real life crisis and the real life drama unfolding around them. Sorry, but I was literally appalled by the statement about the Fort Hood Memorial service. How do you think a family member or a good friend of one of the victims of this real life tragedy would of felt reading this. I know what its like to lose someone you love, fortunately my loss was to natural causes, I can only imagine the pain of losing someone in such a terrible manner such as what happened a Fort Hood. I agree that there are times when we are pre-empted for things that really necessary, for example if its against the law to waste the publics time then add it to list of charges against Richard Heenie the master mind behind that horrid balloon boy hoax, funny how I didn't read any post, blogs etc about the fact that the news covered this thing for almost a good half hour, and for what, nothing it was all a lie. Now that was something to get upset about. Seriously I like OLTL and it has been good lately, but the fact that Mitch Laurence is back, or Bo and Nora are committing adultry shouldn't be more important then a real life tragedy. To say this is what the evening news is for, well maybe so but I think the families of these victims were touched by the coverage they received, or it should be on cable, well not everyone has cable. OLTL was back the next day those brave men and women who lost their lives at Ford Hood weren't. |

I've been a fan as long as this show has been on and I though Higley was bead.Ron C and Valenti have beent so far over Frons its stupid no wonder the ratings are a crap **** .
