New Site Rocks!

I love the new layout! Now I can view the site on my iPhone (the window to your blog was nice, but my phone kept going there, instead of the comics page).

No probs..

Those who are "pining for the fjords" aka. using less-known Opera..

Ads get taken care once you filter them.

Re: Site Issues

Hey, Ariamaki - thanks for the lookout.

There should only be an advertising banner on the main page and the comic archive pages. I don't mind if the advertising gets overlapped (it's a ComicGen requirement, not something I make money off of), but the text should be visible - and in my version of Chrome, it is. Can you clarify what version you're using, and what exactly is happening to the text?

Sound ads and popup ads are also ComicGen's call, not mine. Are they only appearing on the main page and comic archive pages, or throughout the site? (In Firefox, downloading FlashBlock will take care of the sound ads.)

And the sidebar advertisement - do you mean the box that contains a rotating ad for other comics? It's exactly the same width as the other sidebar elements, so it should fit in just fine. Or do you mean something else?

If you can get screenshots of any of the issues, that would be awesome. (If you don't have anywhere to upload them, try tinypic.com.)

Thanks!

Site Issues

Currently, the following stuff has come up.
The block of text at the top-center often overlaps the advertising banner above it, removing chunks of one (Firefox) or both (Chrome).

Sound ads appearing occasionally.
Pop-window ads appearing occasionally.
Sidebar advertisement breaking formatting.

Otherwise, I love the look of it.

GOGO HITLER RETORT

Never died on me or virused me. And you can't save target in firefox!

Not to mention the later versions of firefox have seem to lose their charm.

IE has a version of Adblock too, which is often a primary reason people pick FF with its robots and its cthulu-summoning languages.

The operative word, Mr. Spock, is "d-death."

No need to say "death to IE." IE dies all on its own--and takes the rest of your box with it. :)

If the site doesn't work

If the layout doesn't work for you...get Firefox!

But if you have Firefox and are still having trouble, post the problems here and I'll see what I can do.
