| Posted By: Dee Posted On: Mar 21, 2010 Views: 364 | AMEN TRACI!! All I can say is I wish you were the head writer and especially for the John/Marty [ NOTICE i DID not SAY jOHN/nATALIE..] S/L. Natalie is extremely immature and desperate that she has to try to hone in on he x's relationship. Good god, John was going to marry her (a huge a mistake as that would have been) and didn't. For very good reasons---THEY DON'T GET ALONG. All they have in common is sex. That's it! and that is not nearly enough for the long haul. John and Marty, otoh, have depth, chemistry and understanding of one another---things that John and Bratalie will NEVER have. Bratalie is acting just like her "teenage" twin and it is revolting. For goodness sake let her either go (AND STAY) in London or Paris for that matter or put her with one of the UNSPOKEN FOR men on the show. this lurking around gawking and staring at John and Marty is sickening at best and needs to end now. |
| Posted By: Traci Posted On: Mar 21, 2010 Views: 372 | OLTL - Oh the lack of drama! OLTL can't be serious about John/Natalie redux! Are viewers really expected to believe John has unrequited love for the red menace? Nat seems to believe that John is her private domain and can't possibly have a life with anyone but her. John has had chemistry with only a few characters (Evangeline/Blair) and Natalie is not one of them. Having her constantly standing around staring at John/Marty is a bit demented and bordering on stalking. Who else but Natalie would run to John and tell him about Marty's pregnancy? At what point does she get that she is not a part of his relationship? John needs to say, Nat back off. Unfortunately, ABC Daytime will never have McBain do so. Most new expectant fathers are so euphoric about the baby that Natalie would be Natalie who. By allowing John to give mixed signals, viewers are stuck with Natalie and her meddling. Natalie questioning Marty if she and John were getting married was way over the top. If Marty answered yes, in Natalie's world, John's only marrying her because of the baby; if he doesn't marry Marty it's because he still loves Nat. Marty is not the type to allow Natalie to run roughshod over her relationship. However, the moment John asked Marty to have the baby with him, I suspect that the poor baby will never see the light of day. I can see it now, Marty miscarries, John needs consoling, next stop Llanfair. Every single relationship John has tried to have, Natalie was the one constantly interfering. John needs to grow a backbone and tell Natalie to get a life, but not his life. |
| Posted By: Dee Posted On: Mar 20, 2010 Views: 384 | First and Foremost Ol needs to stop this absurdity with John and Natalie. DO THEY NOT REMEMBER WHY THEY DID NOT GET MARRIED? Natalie is a nag and John just does not do nagging. Maryt never nags John and the tow have great chemistry. John and Natalie are a round peg in a square hole. Some things just don't fit and those two are one of them. |
| Posted By: Killington Princess Posted On: Mar 16, 2010 Views: 464 | Brody and Jess Brody needs to be back with Jess with her memories intact. I was one who was very excited about GT returning as Kelly but I have not enjoyed her return so far. I believe a Kelly/Todd pairing is a huge mistake. I actually saw more natural and unforced chemistry between GT and Dan Gauthier, who they need to bring back btw. Tea is indeed the woman for Todd. Period. End of story and while I am not a fan, I feel for Blair having to be thrown into these two triangles. This show has taken an unfortunate turn at a time when it should be thriving. I hope it can find its way. |
| Posted By: Layla Posted On: Mar 16, 2010 Views: 499 | I have to agree with Lena. I really miss the core families and characters. I realize that soaps need to bring in someone new to shake thongs up a bit. But the newbies that OL have been bringing in have been a complete waste of space. While other descent characters have been put on the back burner. Case in point the whole Gigi/Rex/Stacy/Kym/Sky mess. What a complete waste of time for fans. I have never been a real fan of Rex's or Gigi's. So I didn't care about the s/l. I am also tired of Todd/Tea/Dani. I was a huge fan of Tea's until they hooked her with that worthless rapist. I don't care how much they try and redeem Todd there is no doing so. He tried to kill a pregnant woman, beat up on teenage boys and has been down right disrespectful of women. I remember on AMC whne Jon slapped Maggie and how outraged women were. Now GH is doing the same kind of thing with Keffier and Kristina. And, fans are outraged over that. But these same fans can get behind a character like Todd. That says alot about women. |
| Posted By: Lena Posted On: Mar 16, 2010 Views: 552 | Brody with no one sounds good. OL is overloaded with characters no one cares about. Time to focus on family not men who are worthless and "couples". Time to get rid of the characters that hogged the screen for years and no one cares about starting with....the rapist. No wonder the ratings are in the toilet. OL needs to clear the decks! |
| Posted By: soapluver Posted On: Mar 15, 2010 Views: 321 | Exits Not surprised to see all the exits. The only character that is actually related to a major family is Rachel. The show needs to get back to the core families, and they need to get rid of the expanded cast of extraneous characters...if only so they can afford people like Gina Tognoni. I can think of a few others I wouldn't be sorry to see go. |
| Posted By: Mark Posted On: Mar 15, 2010 Views: 370 | Brody with . . . Blair wasn't an option. I'd love to see Blair rock Brody's world ala Eli. |
