| Posted By: ninjatoes Posted On: Jan 16, 2011 Views: 372 | Looking for something completely different Like every kid, I imagine, I made all kinds of paper creations ever since I was old enough to be (more or less) trusted with scissors and glue, and there were even some toy stores near where I lived that sold proper 3D paper model kits of castles and houses! But I only got into papercrafting more seriously when we got our first computer. Like every kid that needed a computer to do their homework, I used internet to look up everything I could about my favourite TV shows and movies, like Star Trek and Star Wars, and that was when I also found out about paper R2-D2s and TIE-fighter templates that you could download and print yourself! Not long after, I started making my own templates, and well, several years later I'm still not bored of it! ;o) |
| Posted By: Mik Posted On: Jan 16, 2011 Views: 363 | RE: Looking for something completely different I was looking for something completely differant when a picture attracted my attention.I opened the page to read about the model Mechwarrior Mech only to discover it was made of paper.There was a link which i opened.I found loads of models & started down loading them,before long i found it wasn't only the Mech models but all sorts of models were available.From that point i was hooked. |

Lo dejé un poco olvidada y pasado un tiempo la busqué otra vez y fue cuando encontré cientos de modelos de todo tipo. A lot of fans use internet to find out all kinds of things about their favourite videogame or television show (or whatever they're fan of ;o) and with so many papercrafters out there nowadays, the chance is very big they will come across a papercraft model that they can print, cut out and assemble, so they can have something tangible! And what fan wouldn't look like that? ;o) |
