| Posted By: Osisi Posted On: Apr 4, 2012 Views: 651 | True Federalism Not For Ndigbo. That was then, true federalism would have solved Nigeria problems 44 years back when genocide was not committed in Igbo land, when poisonous food was not smuggled into Biafra land through chameleon land, when Demi god Awolowo does not came up with hunger theory as a weapon of war, when the money of Nigbo was not shared among Yoruba chameleons, Adamu northern illiterates & ogogoro dancers River line people with the extra bonus of our properties in PH & give the owner Ndigbo twenty pounds. Nigeria rejected true federalism immortal Ikemba Emeka Ojukwu a great Igbo son offered Nigeria 44 years back. Yoruba chameleon conspired & connived with dangurungus northern illiterates with the help of ogogoro River line people to wipe out Igbo race from existence, to sideline Igbo race from economical & political power in Nigeria up till this moment am punching my keyboard. To day God of Biafra has vindicated Igbo race, for Yoruba chameleon to turn around repeating what igbo man has prescribed as a solution to Nigeria problems 44 years back as a solution to Nigeria present day problem. What Igbo man saw today will take Yoruba chameleons & ogogoro drinking River line people 44 years to see it. Any Igbo man or woman talking about true or false federalism in Nigeria is on his or her own. Our stand is clear to a blind man, Ndigbo wants state sovereignty of Biafra, no compromise about this price. Igbo leader Chief Ralph Uwazurike is the voice speaking for Igbos, all those political Igbo joggers commands no respect from Ndigbo. For those who are singing about united south without defining the bases of the united units are fooling themselves, in south we have our differences which we cannot forget rather we must understand them. Ndigbo we wants Biafra, Yoruba Chameleons wants resource control which they coated true federalism, Sapele water people wants true federalism coated resource control. This our differences must be well understood b4 we talk about united south. Ndigbo don't trust Yoruba chameleons & their Ogogoro drinking counter part. Only option is self determination, any other thing apart from self determination cannot be accepted. He who does not learn from history will allow it to repeat itself. Tepiko Browne, you are a fool who deserved know responds, coupe planner like Abiola, I mean international criminal, he thought Nigeria telecommunication money will give him a breathing space. Can you imagine a bandit calling for justice for all? That criminal who cannot even protect himself is calling for justice for all. Moron Tepiko Browne, don't you see how Abacha picked him like a christmas goat in Lagos Atizan, finally Abusalami killed him for sallah. Tepiko Browne God punish you & condame those your fingers you used to punch the keyboard to wrote & paste here that Yoruba fought on the side of Biafra. Long Live Biafra Long Live Ndigbo God bless our well wishers. |

| Posted By: Chi Posted On: Apr 4, 2012 Views: 768 | fuel price increase. The govt. simply transferred the burden of paying the subsidy to Nigerians when it said that it’s not subsidizing anymore. But my opinion is since naira has continue to loss value, higher denomination of naira should be printed like 2,000 naira note, 5,000 naira note, 10,000 naira note or even 20,000 naira note. By so doing we can as well volunteer to buy the fuel that now belong to only the elites 1000 per litre. Can’t you see that palliative is same old joke with a new name? |

| Posted By: EJIOFOR ALISIGWE Posted On: Apr 4, 2012 Views: 651 | Tepiko Browne: Shut Up It's outrageous to say that the Yoruba fought for Biafra!!! What planet are you on Tepiko Brown to insist on making such insulting and explosive statement?!!! You must take it back at once otherwise never you dare fuccking lie your tawdry arse off here against the long suffering Igbo again-ever We dare you to list names of your touted Yoruba who fought for Biafra. What the world saw was the Biafra planned and executed by the Yoruba who were at the forefront to wipe out the Igbo people. An opportunity to wipe out their hottest rival from Nigeria. What is the matter with you twisted people? Can't the Igbo do or say something in this dreadful country without some jackass from some outlandish ethnic group butt in to constitute a nuisance? Read any history in this case about the Biafra war and get acquainted with the events of history. Don't come here to pout your smarmy inflammable ejaculations. We will not tolerate it. So there. |

| Posted By: Ohio Posted On: Apr 3, 2012 Views: 645 | IMPEACH PRESIDENT JONATHAN HAHAHAHAHA! Ofe plus mmanu and the desperation of the Aboki equals impeach jonathan for soliciting church "gift". Do am make we see, ewu impeachment. ************************************************************************ ************************************************************************ ************************************************************************ ******** Church donation: ACN urges National Assembly to impeach Jonathan From The Sun Publishing Wednesday April 04 , 2012 Photo: Sun News Publishing More Stories on This Section The Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) has asked the National Assembly to commence impeachment proceedings against President Goodluck Jonathan, for allegedly saying that he solicited a bribe from a foreign construction company, in violation of the Constitution that he swore to uphold. In a statement issued in Abuja yesterday by its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the party said commencing the impeachment proceedings will enable the National Assembly to investigate the matter and also reach the appropriate conclusions, since the President, by his own admission and without any prompting, has thumbed his nose at the Constitution. “To know the gravity of the President’s self admission of soliciting the church ‘gift’ from the Managing Director of Gitto ConstruzioniGenerali Nigeria Limited (GCG), one needs to understand Section 6 of the Code of Conduct for Public officers embodied in the First Schedule of the 1999 Constitution and the Code of Conduct and Tribunal Act (CAP C15) Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004. “The Act states: ‘A public officer shall not ask for or accept any property or benefits of any kind for himself or any other person on account of anything done or omitted to be done by him in the discharge of his duties. For the purposes of subsection (1) of this subsection, the receipt by a public officer of any gifts or benefits from commercial firms, business enterprises or persons who have contracts with the Government shall be presumed to have been received in contravention…unless the contrary is proved’,” it said. ACN said by the improper and unfortunate action, the President has also undermined the country’s fight against corruption and put Nigeria’s democracy in jeopardy, hence must not be allowed to get away with such an egregious act. “Gitto has obtained billions of contracts from the Nigerian government, amid reported allegations in the media that it has not executed such contracts well. How can the Federal Government hold the company to account, when it (firm) has obtained an “insurance cover” by bribing the President? Is this not why the country’s anti-corruption efforts have not achieved anything? Can the EFCC and the ICPC honestly and boldly fight corruption when the President is knee-deep in the mud of corruption?” it queried. The party said by openly and gleefully saying, at the inauguration of the church at his Otuoke hometown, that “the managing director of Gitto made him a promise to build and donate the church to Otuoke community after he (the president) had complained of the aging structure of his church,” the President has demonstrated that he is either not conversant with the Constitution he swore to uphold or thinks very little of the laws of the land. |
| Posted By: TEPIKO BROWN Posted On: Apr 3, 2012 Views: 674 | RE CHIEF IWUANYAWU'S COMMENT Thanks Mazi Nwaduru for your observations on my views The fight was against injustice, that is man's inhumanity to his fellow man, which was what Biafra came into being to stop. Many highly principled and noble persons both Ibos and non Ibos who believed in justice for all, fought for Biafra; to that extent I agree 100% with your observations. When Abiola asked for reparations for slavery he did not ask for just the Yorubas that were enslaved he asked for the entire enslaved black race. I repeat and hold strongly that it would amount to insulting the memory of the others that died in the struggle if a man of Iwuanyawu's stature would be making demands just for the Ibo dead alone, that is my point period. I can understand some young man like my friend Mr Omuba who knows little about the unjust war and does not know that some Yorubas fought on the Biafran side makes such clannish demands, I can even understand, take no offence and maybe even sympathize if my friend Mr Omuba expresses himself in objectionable language as he has done in his observations because he might have limitations unknown to us BUT not Chief Iwuanyawu a well educated and very much exposed personality by any standards. OH! PLEASE TAKE A BREAK AND JOIN US CELEBRATE MRS OKONJO IWEALA A WORTHY NIGERIAN FOR GETTING THIS FAR IN THE WORLD BANK RACE, WE PRAY SHE WINS FOR NIGERIA AND AFRICA. |

The Speakers called for an increase in the derivation fund allocation to oil-producing states from the current 13 per cent to 50 per cent. The South-South Speakers Otelemaba Amachree, chairman of the summit and Speaker, Rivers State; Kon Benson, Speaker, Bayelsa State; Harry Odey, Speaker, Cross River State; Samuel Ikon, Speaker, Akwa Ibom State; Victor Ochei, Speaker, Delta State; and Uyi Igbe, Speaker, Edo State; stated their position on the matter in a six-point communiqué they issued at the end of their one-day summit held at the weekend in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State capital." - So says the Guardian No it should all 100% of it belong to the owner BUT the Federal Government should also be free to impose federal tax on it, that would be a win win fair deal solution. |
| Posted By: Kehinde Oluyemi Posted On: Apr 3, 2012 Views: 654 | Court dismisses criminal charges against Akingbola SEE THE STANDARD AND CALIBER OF OUR SANs. IT IS SHAMEFULL Court dismisses criminal charges against Akingbola •Judge lambasts prosecuting SANs By ADESINA AIYEKOTI Tuesday, April 03 , 2012 Photo: Sun News Publishing More Stories on This Section Former Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Intercontinental Bank Plc (now Access Bank), Dr. Erastus Akingbola, was yesterday discharged at the Federal High Court, Lagos on allegations of financial impropriety brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). The trial judge, Justice Charles Archibong, also dismissed the charges preferred against the former bank CEO and barred the prosecution from appearing before the court or another judge of the Federal High Court over the matter on what the court termed ‘serious and professional incompetent’ of the prosecution team made up of five Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SAN). Archibong also directed the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Mohammed Adoke (SAN) to disband /sack/debrief the present prosecution team, comprising five Senior Advocates of Nigeria and their respective firms from handling the matter for serious abuse of court process and incompetent in their prosecution of the charges against Akingbola. He said the prosecution team was a drain on the public purse, “a fact the AGF should be mindful of now if he was not before. “This prosecution team had chosen to pursue a campaign to scandalise the court, which amounts to serious and professional incompetent in the prosecution of the accused. “This prosecution team or any part of it shall not be given further audience in this court in relation to the charges against the accused either before this presiding judge or any other judge of the Federal High Court, for the reason, I had given in the foregoing. “Furthermore I take judicial notice that the accused herein is presently facing charges before the Lagos High Court emanating from his tenure as the managing director and chief executive officer of the Intercontinental Bank Plc, the AGF may wish to regain control of this process and his untrammeled right to prosecute the accused in another charge, he chooses before any appropriate court, as he can of course do so at any time of his choosing. “Meanwhile, the prosecuting team presently employed, indulging in professional incompetence to the extreme had been unmindful of the accused’s right to have the case against him clearly stated. They have been dismissive of his right to a ‘speedy’ trial, which in reality should be the credible procedure. “I therefore dismiss the charges amended or otherwise for this incompetent and abusive prosecuting team. “I discharge the accused accordingly and leave the AGF to consider his options, “This enrolled order shall be served to the AGF and the prosecution team. “I shall be referring the conduct of the learned senior advocates who led the prosecuting team to the Legal Practitioners Privileges Committee (LPPC) for further consideration and determination of the issues raised. “The record of this proceedings shall be forwarded to the AGF and the LLPC and this proceedings is at its end,” the court pronounced |
