Mr Uriesi further said – “There was no fracas in the process. If there was, perhaps, I would have been arrested.” Really Mr MD Ureisi were you expecting a physical confrontation in such corporate affairs, were you expecting Motor Park behaviour at Nigeria’s premier international airport are those your standards physical confrontations arrests et all! Mr Uriesi went on to say – “This is a milestone in our journey to transformation.” What transformation that you have failed to make all these years. There must be something you are not telling us and sooner than latter it would be public knowledge. By the way how come it is only your side of the story we have heard why is it that no one has heard from the other side! |

| Posted By: TEA Posted On: Mar 25, 2012 Views: 483 | Boko Haram- THE RIGHTEOUS Naija & Northside. The US are fighting a fight that can not be won in Afganistan and Pakistian because not All Afganistan & Pakistian are terrorist but majority of them are sympathetic to their course- they are fighting the the cause of Allah as exemplified by Mohammed (SW) The truth is terrorism has come to Nigeria and they have more than 10Million member. You can only have understanding of what I am saying if you go to the North, presently an average of about 3 Million children between the ages of 5 and 10 are undergoing the same indoctrination.- you have seven heavens when you kill an infidels. Let the wives and children of boko haram die with them, they are potential suicide bombers.(Iraq experience) The world is in trouble today because of people who feel inferior. They talk of injustices and poverty in the land. Is it chinedu, Okafor,Akanni, Seun, Irene that you are killing are the one responsible for your poverty. Are they kwankwso,Muazu,Goje etc that are your governors who are living large on the allocated resources to your region. I can recollect an experience in Kafachan in 2000, the community wake up one day and sent the then local govt chairman packing. If you are poor and you feel you are denied, can't you demand an EXPLANATION FROM YOUR LEADERS. IT IS NOT POSSIBLE BECAUSE ALLAH PUT THEM IN THE POSITION OF Authority. It was possible to spread Islam in the 14th,15th,16th,17th centuries by declaring Jihad because then there is no freedom. LET IT BE KNOWN TO THE SHORT SIGHTED THAT NO AMOUNT OF YOUR KILLING WILL TURN THE HEARTH OF A CHRISTIAN TO EMBRACE YOUR RELIGION- YOU WANT HIM TO JOIN YOU AND KILL,WHEN HE KNOWS WHAT IS GOOD FOR HIM RIGHT FROM HIS CHILDHOOD. THE TRUTH MUST BE TOLD BY THE ULAMAS, LET YOUR FRUIT PROPAGATE YOUR RELIGION. 2 Boko Haram suspects killed in car bomb From Desmond Mgboh, Kano Sunday, March 25, 2012 Photo: Sun News Publishing More Stories on This Section Joint Security Task Force (JTF) has confirmed the death of two suspected Boko Haram members, which resulted from an explosion in their own car during an operation in Kano. Brigade Commander of the 3 Brigade, Nigerian Army, Kano, Brig-Gen Iliyasu Abbah, disclosed this while conducting journalists round the scene of the incident. He said the operation took place around 1 a.m. on Saturday in Sabuwar Gandu Phase One in Kumbotso Local Government Area of Kano State. “The suspects had been planning a major operation with a car, which had already been primed to explode because they knew security agencies had been trailing them.,” Abbah said, adding: “The suspects wanted to detonate the improvised explosive devices loaded in a car to kill security operatives coming to search their house. “Unfortunately, the IEDs inside the car exploded while they were still in the car and shattered their bodies.” The Army spokesman said no JTF member died, but two soldiers sustained injuries from the blast, adding that five women and several innocent children found in the house could have died too, if they had succeeded in detonating all the IEDs. Said Abbah: “We have confirmed that some of them are not Nigerians, but that is left to security agencies charged with that responsibility to reveal the identity of these people.” He said further that items recovered from the house included two AK-47 rifles, three magazines, two vehicles (one of them completely ruined), 36 rounds of 5.65mm; 181 rounds of 7.62mm, one pistol, two unexploded IEDs and several handsets. | Posted By: Chinda Posted On: Mar 25, 2012 Views: 483 | Ofeke Ofeke A major reason for the disunity in the East is the inability of the Igbos to put their acts together. And Southsouth falling for the tricks of Hausa/Fulani and Yoruba elites. And not hatred of Igbos as you guys try to make out. Gradually other pro Igbo elements in the East got disgusted anbd disapointed with the silly politics of Igbo politicans were playing especially during the NRS/SDP period and since 1999. For example, in 1979 and 1983 most of Ikwerre people were still voting for NPP and Nnamdi Azikiwe. It was when Igbos repeatedly failed to show genuine leadership that things fell apart. Historians here like Ezinwanne and Stanley O can testify to this if they will be sincere. So what we are saying is that now Igbos are beginning to put themselves together, it will be nice for the old East to unite once again because there is going to be a huge confrontation soon in Nigeria. The signs are there that the resources of the Southsouth and some parts of the Southeast will cause a conflict. Just take your time to study the utterances and body language of prominent Northern leaders. So its good to unite because the Igbos need the Southsouth to secure their flanks and access to the sea. The Southsouth need Igbos to secure their North side and provide creativity in the battle that will surely come if things continue to get worst in Nigerian politics of oil and resources. So Mr. Ofeke, dont misquote me please. Its for everybody's good that we unite. Don't worry about the West. They usually join the winning side. Na their way |
| Posted By: Kendo Posted On: Mar 25, 2012 Views: 482 | Congrats! Alhaji Bamanga Tukur Just yesterday, Alhaji Bamamga Tukur in his senility was recycled once again as the PDP chairman. His ascendency in that position is not surprising as Nigeria keeps descending bellow sea level on daily basis. How can expired brains currently propelling Nigeria understand the pragmatic political solutions of this independent generation? Who among them understand the current ethics of universally acceptable principles? How many of them attend global annual seminars on current affairs? I certainly would have been complacent with the situation if my peers on this forum fighting against Biafra are competent enough to challenge their real enemies in the helms of affairs. Unfortunately, the only voice they have is to fabricate non-existing fallacies against the independent nation of Biafra. None of them is ready to die for Nigeria they claim to love so much. None of them is ready to challenge their leaders for accountability, transparency, societal equality and fairness. Their leaders after mortgaging their future, builds biased legal system that enables them to escape justice at all time. I am not afraid to pay any price for speaking against injustices in the society I live. Even at death, the price one honestly paid today will save millions of lives tomorrow. Few years ago, Enugu airport was in the news. The general public was made to understand that the federal government has upgraded Enugu airport to international status. Since then until now, not even a single flight of international status has touched down the tarmac of Enugu International airport. Onitsha port was commissioned for operation without full dredging of River Niger. (I wonder if ships now fly like airplanes to drop containers at Onitsha) The second Niger Bridge as usual remains awaiting disaster that will consume innocent lives tomorrow. With all these neglects, I am constantly reminded to remain a patriotic citizen of Nigeria. But the question is, am I really a Nigerian? The answer is NO coz I am a Biafran citizen living under captivity in Nigeria. However, millions of Nigerians are wasting their productive age in countries that do not deserve their services. Each time a youth is killed in Nigeria for robbery or other criminal acts, it reminds me the level of dilapidations Nigeria has plunged into. I was told that in the 70s and early 80s, once a student graduates from the university, a job, a car loan, and a house loan automatically awaits such student. Today millions of Nigerian graduates are wasting away in countries as poor as Bangladesh searching for menial jobs to survive. The evil Nigeria did to Igbos during and after the civil war is seriously haunting them today. They have equally refused to accept their guilt or show any remorse. Instead, they devised ruthless means to inflict more injuries on Igbos. This is why the retributive justice of Karma has continued to unleash dangerous plagues to remind Nigeria bloods of the innocents cannot be maneuvered until justice is done. As the survivors of that genocide, we shall continue to remind Nigeria that until flags of the Rising Sun are allowed to hover freely on the Eastern Sky, incessant ugly news will never depart from Nigeria. Who cares about Pharaoh’s insistency? Pharaoh will surely accept divine instruction any time his wise men runs out of their usual pranks. That time is no longer far from sight. Anyway! My congratulation goes to Alhaji Bamanga Tukur for his new position as the PDP chairman. Long Live Biafra! Long Live Igbo Nation!! Long Live All Our Well Wishers!!! |
| Posted By: passer by Posted On: Mar 23, 2012 Views: 1254 | Can't keep a secret? A housewife, Mrs. Seinab Adebayo, yesterday told an Ijebu-Ode Customary Court Grade ‘A’ that her husband, Adewale, was not the biological father of their three children. Adebayo, who is pregnant with the fourth child, also told the court that her husband was not responsible for the pregnancy. The husband, Adewale, who was the plaintiff had early this month, dragged his wife to court for packing out of the house with the three children without his consent. He urged the court to order his wife to return his three children to him. But the wife said she packed out of the house because her husband, who, she said, she married 12 years ago, was not the biological father of the children and was not responsible for the pregnancy. Adebayo told the court that she was made to swore an oath to keep the secret that her husband was not the biological father of the children, adding that it was a deal between the two of them. She said her husband had been married for 10 years without an issue before she got married to him. “When I got married to my husband 12 years ago, we both swore to an oath not to reveal the secret that my husband is not the biological father of the children. “And for the past 12 years we have been keeping that secret by not allowing anybody to know that my husband is not the biological father of the three children and the pregnancy that I am carrying.’’ Adebayo, however, told the court that she could not reveal the details of the secret until the husband brought the oracle with which they swore the oath to court to release her from it. “I cannot give the details of the secret of who the real father of the children is until I am released from the oath. “I will urge the court to order my husband to bring the oracle with which we swore the oath to court and release me from it before I can reveal the secret,’’ she said. The husband, who did not deny the allegation, insisted that he was the biological father of the children. In his ruling, the court’s President, Mr. Olatunji Kanimodo, ordered the husband to bring the oracle with which they swore to an oath to the court in the next adjourned date. Kanimodo said the order was imperative for the court to get the full details of the case, and adjourned the case to April 27. |

| Posted By: Ajo Nnunu Posted On: Mar 23, 2012 Views: 1336 | Up Biafra Yes, as days passesby Igbo Ndioma approaches their promise land. It sounds funny when I was going through some posting on sun pool, counter accusations of corruption is going up & down, is laughable when corruption himself is accusing his partner in crime of being corrupt. This name (Nigeria) is corruption herself. When people of different cultures, different orientations, different religion, different in reasoning & understanding was forced together without defining the terms of the union of the united units, this is corruption in a highest place, every person in this entity called Nigeria is living in corruption. What do we expect when people with different view of life was forced together just is to give birth to corruption & Britain called her Nigeria. Is because of this Corruption named Nigeria is the cause why oil in the East is not mitered, western world is lifting oil in the east without mitre reading, they don't even consider the damage the exploitation has caused in the life of the people their future generation in those areas. If not because of this corruption Britain sowed & called her Nigeria & used almajiri's in the north for smooth operation things would have not being as it is today. One & only way to disband this corruption in the name of Nigeria is your tent oh Israel. Igbo man assuming no one citizen as president of this corruption (Nigeria) will never change our stand in actualizing our Igbo nation Biafra because is our destiny. Igbo man sense, after taking critical look in this corrupt Nigeria we find out that she has no future, is only to consume people & cause them untimely death, roads are death traps, people are dying like ant every blessed day, Nigeria officials conived with people of bad blood in India to bring in fake drug just to kill Nigerians in their numbers, burnt gas from I pass my neighbor generator has waisted a lot of generations, many Nigerians has met their untimely death through drinking uncleaned water, malaria has sent many Nigerians to their early grave. What is good about this corruption called Nigeria? Green passport is widely rejected all over the globe. Present problems facing the people in this big lie called Nigeria as of today is not only the North based on the realities on the ground to my own view, now South West want regional gvt whereby they can control their resources, Some part of South south who does not have the spirit of Biafra wants resource control also. So my question remains what has South west done to show Nigeria that they wants regional gvt? The same question goes to South South? Ndigbo wants Biafra we fought for it the hole world heard about it & it goes down well in the history. Ndigbo we are unlucky to have weak & handy capt people as neighbors who does not share the spirit of Jesus christ who choose to die for his people for them & their future generation to have internal life. South West & South South prove your ability to change your generation for good. North does not have two heads, South south after knowing that 99% of the oil well at your back yard is owned by the northerners, what is your reactions to claim what belongs to you? You don't need everybody b4 you stand up for the truth & justice, even if you are defeated physically the truth cannot be defeated. When our brothers in South denied us & fought against us, Igbo man did not give up if not world power Ndigbo are ever ready to defeat our brothers & their northern allies, yet Igbo man could not give up we are still telling the hold world today why we wants Biafra nation. That same problem Igbo man fought fore over 44 years back is hunting every Nigerian today. Those mouth who speak against Ikemba & his people are the once speaking good about him & how he fought for justice. No matter how you fought against justice it will still keep it's head above injustice. Chinda your suggestion regards to confrontation is pure truth because (agbaghi uzo owele ngba ogaghi echi) Even if south East will help, you people most start at least for Igbo man to see & be convinced that you people really mean business to liberate your generation, then solidarity can be achieved, Igbo adage says that your neighbor is more important than your brother who is living far away from you, in case if there is any tragedy your neighbor will come for your rescue b4 your brother who is far away. No matter what, heaven help those who helped themselves. Long Live Biafra Long Live Igbo bu Igbo God bless our well Wishers |

I am not from Akure or from an Akure suburb like Isolo, and really never knew of an Akure Isolo till this day EVEN THE SUN HEADLINES MENTIONED AKURE NOT ISOLO. I am not even a Yoruba man but after living in Yoruba land for over 50 years I was led to believe until this time that the entire Yoruba life-style & culture is based on respect for Seniors. What has gone wrong here because the words in quote were not designed to convey respectful communication OR is the Osolo Isolo senior to the Deji! |
| Posted By: IHEBOM CHIDI.E Posted On: Mar 23, 2012 Views: 588 | UN ASKS NIGERIA TO STEP UP FIGHT AGAINST CORRUPTIO To me i urge our governments at all levels in Nigeria to step up the serious fight against corruption in the country in order to enhance rapid development in Nigeria. We really to streamline the activities of companies doing businesses in Nigeria because to me their attitude to business had also promoted corruption in Nigeria today.OUR government at all levels needs to step up by ensuring that there is incentive for companies to abide by the laws and also making sure that those laws&policies are put in place, not only that, but that they are fully enforced. To me for the fight against corruption to be effective in Nigeria, both the private and public sectors must collaborate to ensure its elimination. Now there is no doubt that corruption has become a major issue in the lives of all of us here in Nigeria. It has affected and it continue to affect so many aspects of our economy.I believe that it's the level of corruption in Nigeria that made it difficult to attract foreign direct investment flow into our country. To me own advice and view in making sure that corruption is been eliminated out from Nigeria, let us adopt the CHINA way of law.Only death penalty can solve corruption problems in Nigeria because i believe that the EFCC and others are doing nothing, they are just deceiving the masses. To me no body cares for a sick nation because the leadership is also suffering from aggressive bloat of terminal corruption disease.May the almighty God save our country Nigeria from ENEMIES WITHIN,IN JESUS NAME,AMEN................. | Posted By: Stanley O Posted On: Mar 22, 2012 Views: 770 | Osman Imam Where is Osman? Has he heard about the recent shooting and killing of one Mohammed M in France? The 23 year old went to Pakistan and Afghanistan for training. He came back a qualified Algaeda member, became a serial, terrorize the neighborhood and frolic about with cars and women. For over 30 hours, french police laid siege around his apartment, used many tactics to get him out alive. Emboldened by large arms cache in his apartment and bullet proof vest around his chest, he stood in arms contest against the police. Is this not a young man who could have been made a responsible man who should have added value to people's lives using his talents? He was turned to a monster instead. I remember Nigeria's Mutalab now. If religion cannot take any body to "heaven", let it not turn any body to monster here on earth. Let our religion help men and women create heaven here on earth. You know, we can start enjoying the heavenly bliss here, and that's not bad at all. |

"Thursday, March 22, 2012 Nigerian woman with record heroin haul arrested in US by Agency Reporter A record was set at Dulles Airport, United States, over the weekend - the most heroin ever recovered from a human stomach, 9 News Now reported on Wednesday. On Saturday, US Customs and Border Protection officers arrested Bola Adebisi, a Nigerian, who'd allegedly ingested 180 thumb-sized pellets of heroin. That amounts to four pounds, 12 ounces. Adebisi, 52, arrived at Dulles from Nigeria on Wednesday, March 14. During a secondary inspection, Adebisi said she was going to stay with her brother, but was unable to provide her brother's address, phone number or physical description, authorities said. During a routine patdown, a female CBP officer noticed that Adebisi's stomach was abnormally rigid, and an X-ray at a local hospital discovered some hidden cargo.
