| Posted By: Osisi Posted On: Mar 12, 2012 Views: 497 | Dozie You mean say Amadi furfather na immigrant across the River Niger? Haahahah Peter M. Your type in Nigeria are the problems facing this terrorist country. You wants unity without defining the bases of the unity. Igbo man said hoo-ha that he has a dream to actualize which he desperately wants to achieve in Biafra nation. P.M why you people need Igbo man even when Igbo said he don't want to be under the same roof with you people? When someone rejected you P. M & you are forcing your self on him, what will you call yourself? P.M guy you are still far from peace till you embrace the spirit of leave let leave. We will develop & live in peace till we see ourselves as good neighbors not country man. P.M why the hole world cannot be in one country? Do you think the world will not develop if all nations of the world become one country? P.M so world lose greatness because we are not in one country? Those who are interested in Nigeria should go & fix her either by changing your leaders or any which way, you people can still do that without Igbo man okay. P.M is not a curse when you are told to answer your fathers name. Igbo man is tired of being in the mist of unproductive elements & lazy parasites. If you claimed you did not fall in any of this categories, why not leave Igbo man alone & prove yourself? Long live Biafra. Long Live Igbo nation |
| Posted By: Nonie Darwish Posted On: Mar 12, 2012 Views: 534 | Joys of Muslim Women Joys of Muslim Women By Nonie Darwish In the Muslim faith a Muslim man can marry a child as young as 1 year old and have sexual intimacy with this child. Consummating the marriage by 9, the dowry is given to the family in exchange for the woman (who becomes his slave) and for the purchase of the private parts of the woman, to use her as a toy. Even though a woman is abused she can not obtain a divorce. To prove rape, the woman must have (4) male witnesses. Often after a woman has been raped, she is returned to her family and the family must return the dowry. The family has the right to execute her (an honour killing) to restore the honour of the family. Husbands can beat their wives 'at will' and he does not have to say why he has beaten her. The husband is permitted to have (4 wives) and a temporary wife for an hour (prostitute) at his discretion. The Shariah Muslim law controls the private as well as the public life of the woman. In the West World (America and Britain) Muslim men are starting to demand Shariah Law so the wife can not obtain a divorce and he can have full and complete control of her. It is amazing and alarming how many of our sisters and daughters attending American Universities and British Universities are now marrying Muslim men and submitting themselves and their children unsuspectingly to the Shariah law. By passing this on, enlightened American and British women may avoid becoming a slave under Shariah Law Author and lecturer Nonie Darwish says the goal of radical Islamists is to impose Shariah law on the world, ripping Western law and liberty in two She recently authored the book, Cruel and Usual Punishment: The Terrifying Global Implications of Islamic Law. Darwish was born in Cairo and spent her childhood in Egypt and Gaza before immigrating to America in 1978, when she was eight years old. Her father died while leading covert attacks on Israel. He was a high-ranking Egyptian military officer stationed with his family in Gaza. When he died, he was considered a "shahid," a martyr for jihad. His posthumous status earned Nonie and her family an elevated position in Muslim society. But Darwish developed a skeptical eye at an early age. She questioned her own Muslim culture and upbringing. She converted to Christianity after hearing a Christian preacher on television. In her latest book, Darwish warns about creeping Shariah law - what it is, what it means, and how it is manifested in Islamic countries. For the West, she says radical Islamists are working to impose Shariah on the world. If that happens, Western civilization will be destroyed. Westerners generally assume all religions encourage a respect for the dignity of each individual. Islamic law (Shariah) teaches that non-Muslims should be subjugated or killed in this world. Peace and prosperity for one's children is not as important as assuring that Islamic law rules everywhere in the Middle East and eventually in the world. While Westerners tend to think that all religions encourage some form of the golden rule, Shariah teaches two systems of ethics - one for Muslims and another for non-Muslims. Building on tribal practices of the seventh century, Sharia encourages the side of humanity that wants to take from and subjugate others. While Westerners tend to think in terms of religious people developing a personal understanding of and relationship with God, Shariah advocates executing people who ask difficult questions that could be interpreted as criticism. It's hard to imagine, that in this day and age, Islamic scholars agree that those who criticize Islam or choose to stop being Muslim should be executed. Sadly, while talk of an Islamic reformation is common and even assumed by many in the West, such murmurings in the Middle East are silenced through intimidation. While Westerners are accustomed to an increase in religious tolerance over time, Darwish explains how petro dollars are being used to grow an extremely intolerant form of political Islam in her native Egypt and elsewhere. (In twenty years there will be enough Muslim voters in the U.S. and Britain To elect the President by themselves! Rest assured they will do so... You can look at how they have taken over several towns in the USA... (Britain has several cities now totally controlled by Muslims) |

| Posted By: DOZIE Posted On: Mar 12, 2012 Views: 559 | ACN, TSAV AND AMADI. Lai Mohammed of CAN is a liar. There is a FORT IBB IN ASOKORO right from when IBB was president. Yes your advise to the president is good but you have to get your facts right. ABUBAKAR TSAV is now concerned because his daughter was nearly involved in the Boko Haram attack yesterday. Let them keep encouraging Boko Haram in one way of the other it will get to the elites that established them. Meanwhile a person named AMADI should go and first ask for the meaning of his name, trace his origin and know where he is from before saying Igbo’s which he of course is. That your great grand father or grand father lost in the rivers of Niger Delta while fishing and settled there does not mean he has not ancestry. Your descendants knows were they are from and gave you a name as reminder but you don’t know where you are from and hate your ancestors and refers them as “ those Igbo’s” You should be ashamed AMADI. |
| Posted By: IHEBOM CHIDI.E Posted On: Mar 12, 2012 Views: 660 | FEDERAL TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS IN NIGERIA I encourage the federal government of Nigeria to please look into the matters of federal tertiary institutions in Nigeria and as its days of glory has faded and given room for Nigerians to seek solace in other countries. We should be mindful of the billions Nigeria losses every year due to this.It is such a shame that our past leaders have given us rumbles instead of honours in the education sector.....Who will give us the OAU,ABU,UNI-IBADAN,UNIPORT,UNIBEN,UNILAG, AND UNN of the 70's and 80's nowadays? We all need to think about this matter!!!!Why wouldn't dick and harry nations or countries insult us because we had senseless, visionless, greedy and wicked leaders who always take their children to the best of schools overseas and allow the majority to die and struggle with the reminant of dilapidated facilities, poor environment and lack of social amenities that will better our people's lives.............Is there any hope for the COMMONER?....What are the legacies of tomorrow.....?Well i know and believe that God is always there 24 hours for we Nigerians no matter what is going on now in Nigeria and no matter what our leaders are doing or intended to do openly or secretly to either for our favor or against us,God sees and rewards all greatly no matter how far or long it may stay or lasted. | Posted By: Ezinwanne Posted On: Mar 12, 2012 Views: 666 | My point is... My point in mentioning Asari's lineage is that there is a genuine reason to reconcile. We are held by bonds of proximity, blood, history, interaction and language. It is going to be a slow and painful process, but if we set to it, we will succeed. I agree solemnly with you that Nigeria, as it is constituted today must not and should not survive. The earlier we start preparations for [post Nigeria existence, the better for us all who are Igboid. |
| Posted By: Ezinwanne Posted On: Mar 12, 2012 Views: 583 | Chinda I have been engaged outdoors the better part of this year. So my postings might not be as prolifica as I would have liked What would you want me to say or add to the debate? The matter has assumed the toga of an over flogged issue All the same I must admit that you seem to have an appreciable grasp of history. I thank you for that. You also seem very genial and conciliatory in sharp contrast to your kinsman Amadi’s extreme anti Igbo disposition. It is gratifying to see an Ikwerre son who acknowledges that the so called difference between Igbo and Ikwerre is actually politically motivated and smoothened by the politics of crude oil And not backed by facts of history. Your narrative on the use of the term “Nye Isoma “ is quite revealing. I must also postulate that there is really nothing you have said here I have not touched on before in the Ikwerre/Igbo relationship. That there must be a reconciliation amongst the Igbo and all who speak variants of Igbo. That no matter how much we pretend to be different, we really are not. At least when the push comes to a shove in this beleaguered land. Kudos Chinda. I agree with you, and so do guys like Kendo, Ofeke and Stanley O; we could argue our points without name calling. We could start the reconciliation here. Hatred is an emotion that consumes both the victim and his antagonist. It leaves everybody tainted. I cannot say Igbo have been blameless in the hatred game, but at least no Nigerian would ever say an Igboman has picked up weapons; axe, cudgels, guns, knives, explosives to kill anyone or take away his property or even chase him off. You then wonder why all the hostility. Perhaps the answer could be found in your assertion that Igbos have fanned out to across Nigeria eking out a living and being successful at it and in the process attracting unbelievable enmity On Asari, let me inform you that Asari Dokubo’s origin is in Umunneoha Imo state. I think that’s in Mbaitoli LGA. So many Rivers and Bayelsa people have such roots as well not just among Ikwerre. Yes Asari’s Grandfather was an Igbo immigrant trader from Umunneoha who was offered land and vast business opportunities in Buguma Kalabari by the Kalabari monarch at that time King Amachree to settle and do his trade. He was known as Mazi Isioma, aka “Edi Abali.” Till date Goodhead the English version of that name remains the family name of Asari Dokubo’s folks Please read the excerpt below from Asari himself in an interview with the Sun after he was released from Obasanjo’s gulag in2007. Chinda I salute you, however I will make my views on SNC and Biafra known in my next post. "Asari says he has not given his people anything but they have given him so much. He does not subscribe to the saying that a prophet is not recognized in his hometown because he has honour in his hometown. He went to Buguma when he came back. "There I was made a chief by the Amananyabo of Kalabari, His Majesty, King Theophilus Amachree XI," he says. "I was given a title known as SEBROMABO, which means the saviour of the nation." As if that was not enough, Asari was made a chief and accepted into the Obama council of Chiefs. Also, at his maternal home, his mother's people made him a chief. Asari expressing his happiness said: "I am now Alabo Alhaji Mujahid Abubakir Dokubo Asari, Edi Abali." Trying to clear the air on the name Edi Abali because it is an Igbo name, Asari said: "The name of the chieftaincy house that made me chief is known as Edi Abali. You will be surprised that it is an Igbo name. Yes, my grandfather was an Igbo man who came to Kalabari land. He was brought there by King Amachree and became one of the richest men in his time." |
| Posted By: Kendo Posted On: Mar 12, 2012 Views: 512 | Chinda The word “STUPID” may be exaggerated though. However, did you read Amadi’s submission where he emphasized that the North will not honestly support true federalism for the fact that it will be detrimental to their political and economic dominations? He also said that dividing Nigeria on ethnic basis as some Igbos are advocating will not totally solve the Nigerian problems. Is it only Igbos that are advocating for a separate nation in Nigeria today? Is the Yoruba’s comfortable with current Nigerian structure? Did you read news about the middle belters? Did you read Osman submission in response to Amadi? The North has made it clear that they are ready for a separate Islamic nation. My worries are because the more we prolong the evil days in Nigeria; it will instigate another ugly event similar to that of 1967 event. All the noises about national conference to me is a mirage. The North is now complaining that oil found 200 miles away in offshore line cannot be a state property in Nigeria. How do you think a state involve will respond to such unacceptable demand? There are many issues that will surely end up in a serious stalemate if indeed Nigeria converges for the so called SNC. Instead of wasting time and resources, it will be normal if all our discussions is how to peacefully go our separate ways. If you are current and has been following our write ups, you will acknowledge many times we disagreed with Peter Obi, Ralph Uwueche and other Igbo political leaders each time they employ strategies we consider irrelevant. I suggest we don’t insult people’s opinion from henceforth unless those that insulted themselves. We shall give back to those people exactly what they bargained for. Long Live Igbo Nation! Long Live Biafra!! Long Live All Our Well Wishers!!! |

| Posted By: Chinda Posted On: Mar 11, 2012 Views: 493 | Ofeke Dividing Nigeria as it is now does not solve anything. It will end us creating more problems. The thing to do is to make an attempt at a type of round table discussion so that everybody will know and understand everybody's stand. It is more pragmatic than outright dissolution. If SNC fail, then everybody will know its the last straw. All parts of Nigeria are too connected now for separation without firts taking some steps. I dont know how that make Amadi stupid. What about so many Igbo leaders like Governor Obi and Ralp Uwechue who always say that Nigeria should not be divided. Why are you Ofeke not blasting them? |
| Posted By: Chinda Posted On: Mar 11, 2012 Views: 471 | Ofeke HI EVERYONE, I HOPE WE ALL HAD A NICE WEEKEND!What has Amadi done now to warrant this name calling? You agree there should be reconciliation, so why are you still attacking hin for stating the truth. I really dont understand what make him stupid now. What he said is what we all know, so why the attack? |
| Posted By: IHEBOM CHIDI.E Posted On: Mar 11, 2012 Views: 454 | HOW NIGERIA CAN GROW INDUSTRIALLY. I advice and encourage the federal government of Nigeria to pay more attention to the various technology incubation centers across the country if it hopes to achieve its objective of making Nigeria an"industrialized"and"manufacturing country"in the nearest future because to me technology incubation program remains the nursery bed for growing the right technology and entrepreneurs that would transform Nigeria into an industrialized one like most developed countries of the world today. To me i believe that if technology incubation programs are taken seriously, not only will they help in reducing poverty level in Nigeria,it will also serve as veritable tools for creating jobs required to absorb the burgeoning army of graduates from the country's tertiary institutions.I have already discovered that Nigerians are eager and ready even to go ahead on into manufacturing if they have an environment conducive enough to do their jobs.To me i believe that until we resist the idea of turning ourselves into consumers of imported things that have eaten into our marrows and starts producing our own,all these unemployment problems in Nigeria will persist. If Nigeria wants to move forward, technology incubation program in Nigeria must be taken seriously.I believe technology incubation program in Nigeria,if properly put to use, will help in providing employment opportunities for all graduates that are churned out of the country's higher institutions who are searching for white collar jobs that some times are not existent.
