Mazi Nwaduru

I have Igbo blood in my veins ditto Ikwerre blood. Therefore I can call myself Igboman or Ikwerre man. Or even both. It is a matter of choice. Is Obama not African and American the same time. We need to widen our scope of reality.

Mr. Osisi and Mazi Nwaduru

if you want to understand something well, please free your mind and look at it from all sides. You are speaking as if biafra was made up of saints. Am telling you that many people were massacred by Biafran Soldiers in Ikwerreland. That fact created a lot of enemies combined with the attitude of the Nigerian side and the tide of the war. Sociologists will understand what this type of situation can create. The Ikwerre/Igbo relationship today is a result of the things that happened during that war. It is also a fact the Igbos treated Ikwerres with serious contempt even in Port Harcourt before the war. Ask older people. If they will be honest with you they will tell you that no Ikwerre man dared raise up his head during the time Igbos were ruling P H. To the extent that towns and villages in Ikwerreland were never called by their Ikwerre versions but by pure Igbo versions. eg, Rumuokoro - Umuokoro. Rumuokwuta - Umuokuta etc. So there was a lot of resentment coupled with the war atrocities. So blaming Ikwerres for the poor Igbo/Ikwerre relationship is myopic. The problem a social/political factor that can be appeased and redressed by dialogue and genuine reconciliation. Talking as if Igbo is the only aggreived party is not being reasonable.
Also Mazi Nwaduru, am not in anyway begging Igbos to let Ikwerre be Igbos. For what? Afterall Efik and Ibibios speak almost the same language but they have different ethnic identity. Such things are sorted out naturally not by decree or by force or wishful thinking. What am saying is that everybody should realize that a lot of harm has been done during the war and in the past 40years. So genuine reconciliation is important. We have to start it among ourselves in the former eastern region. I think thats what Asari was trying to say. . Where is Kendo, Stanley O. and Ezinwanne. These guys should not pretend they do not understand what am saying

Nigeria elite and their anchor babies

The privileged few Nigerians who have the oppotunity to go overseas long time ago were lucky to have had their children born, bread and became naturally born natives of these countries regardless of where their parents came from. Mr. Obama Sr, a native Kenyan benefited by being the father of the incumbent President of the United States. Naturally born children like the Obamas enjoy all the privileges accorded the Americas without any hinderance.
Our elite Nigerians go as far as to U.K, Ireland, Canada and all Western european countries to ensure that they have a naturally produced children by flying out to these countries to deliver their pregnancies. These type of children are refered to as "anchor babies" in the U.S. The United Kingdom has caught up with this fraud, hence, they now enact laws that would not make these babies become a native Briton until they are seven years old, and all the seven years domiciled in the United Kingdom. The United States are still working on how best to put inpediments on the ways of these anchor babies and their parents so as not to see the US as copycats.
This is where Nigeria comes into this ugly scenario. The Nigeria Constitution ,under citizenship defines a Nigerian as every person born in Nigeria before the date of independence, either of whose parents or any of whose grand parents belongs or belonged to a community indigenous to Nigeria. We,however, put a clog on our childrens way when these children become of school age.or when they need anything from the government of where they live, states start asking questionsto the effect of where thereparents or guardians come from. Athorities now tell the native born Lagosian to go for irrelevant papers from the state oforigin of those parents. This breeds corruption since those parents go out to swear to an affidavit claiming their current state as their state of origin. These type of meaningless questions are never asked in Europe or America where only the birth certificte is the only required paper for the children to enjoy the benefits of been born there. The earlier we expunge these questions from our emploment forms, admissions ,passport application forms, the more Nigerians we would become. AT present, emphasis is too much ontowns, villages, tribe and states. Our leaders should let us think as Nigerians. For population census purpose,we may need such data ,but for ordinary daily affairs let us see less of ourselvesas muslims, christians,Yoruba,Hausa or Igbo

Referendum not SNC

It is interesting to read the views of Chinda. What a contrast from the opinions of most Ikwerres that I have come across who barely disguise their hatred of Igbos on grounds that cannot be substantiated.
Personally, I am all for reconciliation, forgiveness and peace. So I think I am with Chinda in this unless he is not for real.
Having said that, let me also remind Mr. Chinda that self determination is the right of any group in the world be it Igbo, Scotish, Ikwerre, Efik, Ijaw, anybody. Ikwerre leaders have made a decision not to be Igbos. There is nothing we can do about it. Good luck to them.
So there is no need to insist on SNC if a major group like Igbos want seccession. I think this is what referendum will solve. Even Great Britain is having problems with Scottish people who are tired of being with the English and the Welsh. Nobody has been killed or abused as is the case with Igbos in Nigeria. Britain is even preparing a referendum on the matter. Libya of yesterday are having issues too.

Nigeria: A Western Mistake That Needs Correction

Gold Coast in history today is doing well as Ghana, Ivory Coast as Cote D'Ivoire, Dahomey as Benin, Rhodesia and other African countries performing more than their self-labelled gaint "Nigeria" because the hands of their white masters have been completely off them which also reflected in their present names.
But the Niger Area of Mr and Mrs Lugard, survival will only come when amusing WAZOBIA will disappear from the scene, and their ability to recover from self-deceit of claiming oneness when they are not; here WA to their Oduduwa tent, ZO to their ever blood thirty Sharia territory and BIA to their godly-technologically great empire Biafra.
The mistakes of "glorified" Nigerian political big dogs and "Gowonization" of Aburi Accord have dawn on all particles of acclaimed Nigeria federation since the death of the initiator and leader of the true gaint of Africa ,Biafra - Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu; everyone is now saying on Aburi we stand, some calling for SNC, militants and Boko Haramists all emerge to agitate for Nigerian federation worthy to note that what an Igboman say sitting down other tribes if they like climb mount Everest will not see it, this is not exaggeration but fact.
In this nation of men of goodwill Biafra that is coming, Efiks,Ijaws,Ibibios should not play ostrich as they did in the first republic of this country, there is still time for them to form solidified union with Nigeria for in this new republic it might be seen as Igbo republic, Delta-Igbos and Ikwerres should carryout intensive research on themselves to attest their true trait on Igboness or just answering Igbo names because of having boundary with Igbo nation, if we believe in one course, let all Igbo come together whether before or across the Niger build a paradise, a great territory where Jehovah will reign supreme.

ikwerre and igbo

this boy chinda have sense small. not like his brother amadi who is cursing us all the time of having babrity and phobia when we talk our own matter here. but its okay. afterall is your brother that can curse you more than a stranger. today the whole useless nigeria agree that we and our ikemba were correct both at aburi and in defending our self. my annoyance with ikwerre people is that they were only for better for better, not for better for worse. they also allowed the hopeless propaganda from nigeria to affect them making them to hate their own igbo brothers for nothing. nothing. anytime i ask them what igboman do to them, they just say igbo man is greedy. igbo come to take their oil. igbo man like to cheat person. okay, give one example, they cannot. well, today it is clear who is greedy and who come to take their oil or who is cheating them. i thank God alhaji asari and his group are seeing the truth now. everything that niger delta people do, igbo people used support them, yet to them, we no good. is it state creation, resource control, abacha's constititional conference, presidency, name it, we always support them. yet to them igbo no good., well, God dey

CHINDA NO HALF IGBO AND BIAFRA.

Chinda point of correction no one is divided into two parts in terms of ethnic belonging. You have to belong to one tribe. If really you whole heartedly believe that Ikwerres are Igbos then you don’t have to be a partly Igbo and partly Ikwerre.Ikwerrre might be represented in the Ohaneze Ndigbo as you said but what is their mission there? Our Igbo brothers/sisters in the Delta state has been with us from time immemorial but you the Ikwerres has been showing your hatred and deadly hostilities from the very times we needed you people as brothers. The main question now, how many percentage of your Ikwerre people believe and genuinely count themselves as the Igbos. Your people’s presence at the funeral of the late Eze Igbo Gburugburu does not in any way show your committed solidarity towards the Igbos and their agitations towards our independence. I am happy you mentioned Nigeria politics in your comments. Many enemies of the Late Dim C.O.Ojukwu and Ndigbo came to the burial as our people used to say that not all the attendants of a funeral are the mourners/sympathizers, as some are there to weep while some are for mockry.

We the Igbos are not forcing any tribe or people to be our people; we have the human and natural resources to stand firmly on our feet as an independent country. Why do you feel that your integration to the Biafra and Ndigbo is very essential? When we have all what it takes be on our own, I am always happy when I meet these our Delta Igbo people, who always know where they are from and belong too.

You people are very free to remain or belong to any country you like. What is all the noise about ethnicity and belongings? .

Dim C.O.Ojukwu is now resting with our ancestors, and people who painted more badly than the devil are today singing his praises. Nonsense. The best and recognized honor is the one given to the living and dead. Dim Ojukwu never received any of these valueless and hypocritical song praises now that he is dead.

I am very happy that these revealed truths have strengthened us the living Biafra Freedom fighters. The death our beloved father and leader has opened another history of the Igbos and our struggles.

Chinda we the Igbos are not asking for two things at the same time. We have but only one PRICE. Our Biafra nation, anyone who is not with us in this price is never with us. No reasonable man will misuse an opportunity he got on a platter of gold, and wishes to regain it fully untouched after 44/45 years.

We the Igbos/Biafrans are asking for the Independent State Of Biafra. This is the cheapest and our paid Price.

MAZI NWADURU IS FOR THE BIAFRA, AND WHAT ABOUT YOU?

LONG LIVE MY BIAFRA.

LONG LIVE MY FELLOW CITIZENS, COMRADES.

LONG LIVE OUR WELL WISHERS.

Mr. Osisi

It is not my intention to contest anything with you Mr. Osisi. But let me tell you that during the war, Ikwerre people were caught up in the conflict and suffered seriously at the hands of both Nigeria and Biafra. Today Biafrans will come and kill those they accuse of betrayal, tomorrow Nigerians will come and murder many people accusing them of letting Biafrans know their secrets. If you reason well you will know this is what happens to people at the boundary. They taste both sides of the coin.
Ikwerre had to survive, so it was natural to join the winning side even though many of my people ran to Igboland for safety. Afterall many Igbos also join the Nigerian side when Nigerioa was aparently winning. Remeber that Zik himself even join Nigeria midway in the war. What of some Onitsha people like Ukpabi Asika? What of Nelson Ottah the journalist and some Ohafia people. What are we talking about? You need to be told what Brigadier Benjamin Adekunle did in Ikwerre land. To him Igbo na Igbo, so far you say bia, you are an Igbo man, whether you swear you are Ikwerre or Omoku or Etche, he didnt want to know. He command his soldiers to shoot anything that move. So stop talking as if its only Igbos who suffer during that unfortunate war. So coming to kneel down for Igbos is not an option because both sides offended each other. What is important is for a genuine reconciliation to take place. A good place for that will be the SNC. If SNC fails, then the country can be scatter.
For your information, Ikwerres are not the beneficiaries of abandon property. This misinformation must stop. Its mainly Kalabaris, Okrikans and Ijaws. Check your facts please. The records are there. It took a long time before other Rivers people accepted Ikwerre people on their own merit. Before we were all called Igbos. Even till now. Every time you talk of how we hate you people, just see how your own hatred is showing. Have i said anything wrong here?

Chinda point of correction, what we have is (NDI IGBO), we have nothing like delta Igbo.

Running corner corner is just to prolong the evil day ahead. Ikwere is not up to a clan in Igbo land, both in human resources, intellectuals, industriousness & land mass. Every activities of Ikwere during & after the civil war was written & documented, Only thing that will save Ikwere people is they should come & kneel down for Ndi Igbo & asked for forgiveness & returned every single pin in their position, is only this can resuscitate that Igbo brother hood if not this only time will tell

RE: To hell with Nigeria presidency...

Igbos don't want anything Nigeria. All we want is our separate nation Biafra. God have a purpose for creating Igbos. We Igbos have our dream to actualize & we cannot fulfill our dream when living under one roof with south west, north probably those in South South who does not believed in Biafra struggle. Igbos are made to help man kind mostly Black Africans. We want Biafra products simply known as Igbo made.

South South should go with their northern master & South west servant. South South hates Igbos to the core for no justified reasons. South South should come out openly to tell the world why they hate Igbos, if they cannot defend their hatred against Igbos. Igbos should hate them back pay them back using the same coin. South south are not for us the Igbos they never supported us in our course just only but few, their stand is recourse control in Nigeria nation why our course is to have our independent nation, this two things are not going the same way.

Igbo we have abundant human & natural resources south south is not important to be part of Biafra republic, If South Sudan can have their own separate nation. Ndigbo is far ahead of South Sudan both natural & human resources. We don't need big country to change our life & our generation for good. Nigeria the most populated country in African where are they today?

SNC, South west & their songs of true federalism in Nigeria, South south resource control in Nigeria, North wants Nigeria but does not need true federalism or resource control in Nigeria. South East wants Biafra republic.
What are we still waiting for? South South should meet with their northern master & their south west servant to sot-tout how they want to run their Nigeria.

South West, North & South south Nigeria live & let South East Igbo Biafra live. (biri ka mu biri).

We will soon declare our mother land Biafra republic, Nigeria with their oil rich should enjoy their oil wealth & leave Igbo Biafra alone. Any Nigeria interference in Biafra matter will be so disastrous more than 1967,Ojukwu single handedly fought the war with his fathers wealth but this time around will be all Igbos in diaspora from every nooks & cranny of the world.

All mouths from north, south west & south south has confessed that world power USSR, AMERICA, EGYPT, BRITAIN dodged under them to commit genocide in Biafra land without any concrete reasons or evidence to justify their massacre in Igbo holy land of Biafra. 1976 can be seen as first timer offender & also can be forgiving, but for the second time will be a war from generation to generation.

Long Live Igbo Ndi oma
Long Live Biafra republic.

Wrong figure

4million Igbos killed during the civil war is a big exageration. A realistic estimate is 1million plus. Its simple arithmetics. At the peak of the hunger crisis in Biafra in 1968, 3 thousand children and women were dying daily by Mark press the outfit that Biafra used for propaganda. Multiply this number by 365, you will get about 1m plus. Add that to war front casualties of less than three hundred thousand. So a fair estimate of Biafran casualties, not only Igbos is about 1.5m. Remember that in Ikwerre especially Isiokpo and Elele, Anang - Ikot Ekpene and Ibibio in Uyo, the Nigerian side murdered many many people. So its not only Igbos. The Nigerian side talk of hundreds of thousands of soldiers dead and missing although there are no exact figures. Again, from the current huge population of Igbos, you can see that not up to 4m died in that war. So everything both Nigeria side and Biafra side everything is about 2m highest. But still, its very bad. War is not good at all.

Re: C J, on forgive and forget

I know that what am writing will cause an uproar here. but I like to be realistic. In politics, there are no hard stance. Wishing to go it alone has its own limitations. It may suprise you guys to know that Ikwerre people are well represented in Ohanaeze Ndigbo. Its like the position of Itshekiri people who also belongs to Afenifere and are also members of Southsouth assembly. It is all politics at work. But you have to be realistic with the Nigeria politics which put Ikwerre in Southsouth. Even Anioma or Delta Igbos also belong to Southsouth people's assembly, yet they are Igbos.
What is my point?
My point is that there have to be dialogue, alignment, agreement, readjustment etc. Remember that no condition is permanent in political equation. The problem between Igbo and Ikwerre is more political than anything. My governor Chibuike Amaechi who is an Ikwerre man led the group that honored Ikemba before his burial.
This is a step in the right direction towards political reconciliation which can also have effect on social situation. Ohanaeze Ndigbo and Ogbakor Ikwerre have to build on this new relationship for the mutuial benefit of our peoples. I am saying this because I am partly Igbo and partly Ikwerre and have the priviledge of seeing things from the Igbo angle and Ikwerre angle.
Oya make una chop me raw

To hell with the presidency...

If joining PDP and producing a South East president means having inept governors like T.A. Orji of Abia State, then to hell with the presidency!!!

It's better to have small party action governors who work very hard to uplift their states than joining mega PDP that produces mediocre, corrupt-infested looters!!!!

Iwuanyanwu chasing shadows...

Interviewer: "The APGA is now in control of Imo and Anambra states ; aren’t you worried that PDP could find itself in opposition in south-east, which is what has happened in the south-west."

Iwuanyanwu: "Every opposition to PDP that you are seeing in the country are discontented part of PDP. Ninety-nine percent are discontented members of PDP. If they have opportunity, I can tell you many of them are planning to come back to PDP.

Good leadership will create a platform. If you are sure you can actualize your aspiration, unhindered, uninterrupted. If you are sure there will be governance delivered by PDP, there will be no point, jumping from one party to the other.
So, if we are talking about south-east producing the next president of Nigeria, if that’s our collective aspiration, you cannot possibly use a party that has few states, because this is about Nigeria. If the whole Igbo in the world vote for APGA, it will not make us president of this country. We need other Nigerians. So, we need a platform that is broad and this is exactly what we are doing."

- Chief Cyhna Iwuanyanwu is a day-dreamer! So, this blind woman thinks that people will abandon action governors like Okorocha or Fashola and join people like hapless PDP's T.A. Orji of Abia State? Dream on!!!
