Mob focus

I'm holding out hope that RC, the new head writer, is going to be allowed write as he sees fit. He is not a fan of the mob wars. He wants to focus on families and relationships.

Kassie DePaiva

I watch Y&R and I do think that she would be great on the show. However, I don't think that Y&R would be good for her. Y&R and BnB have a long history of getting good actor and not knowing what to do with them. They write them in a corner. When that happens they either write them off the show or simply kill them off. Plus I really don't want to see her be apart of the Newman clan. I can't stand them. The only one that I can stomach is Victoria and that's because she's with Billy.

As for the whole crossover thing. I know alot of GH fans who are ****ed off because of it. Most don't want to see any of these characters on the show at all. They feel like the show already has a big enough cast that newbies aren't wanted or needed. GH for years has been the Sonny/Carly/Jason show. Now it's time to show more of the vets. I am so looking forward to Anna and Robert coming to town for Robin. It's been long over due.

Kassie DePaiva to Young and the Restless?

Girls!

Mama just read that Kassie DePaiva, who played Blair on "One Life to Live" for 18 years, is being pursued by TPTB at "Young and the Restless" to take over the role of Dr. Casey Reed.

Roberta Leighton played the role of Nikki's tough-talking sister from 1978 to 1981 and I think DePaiva would be a perfect fit on TV's #1 rated daytime drama.

Oooooh, I hope it's true. I know that's right!

Cheap Ploy, GH

I've lost all enthusiasm regarding the "One Life to Live" crossover now that I've learnt both Kassie DePaiva and Roger Howarth will be staying less than a month.

This was just a cheap tactic TPTB concoted in their desperate minds to [momentarily] inflate the ratings and absorb some of the fans that are missing the show they have loved since 1968.

Once Blair and Todd are gone, the central focus will go back to mobster Sonny, his overweight brain-dead sidekick Jason and his dim as dirt girlfriend, Sam. Yawn.

No wonder the show received record breaking lows last week. It's not going to improve this spring.

Just Hope For The Best!t

I am a fan of:

John Mcbain .....Love his eyes and his voice

Jason Morgan.....Love his eyes ...the sexiest mobster on TV

Sam Mcall....Love my sexy Sammy!!!!

CaLivia....Caleb and Livvie....the sexiest TV vampire couple

Jasam.....One of the sexiest soap couples eve..!!

and to top it off...Jasam is expecting a baby!

Regardless of the longivity of GH...I'm Good!!!

the Caleb and Livvie fans on youtube are leaving
comments about Michael Easton and Kelly Monaco
sharing scenes....

The Jasamfans are happy too..But feel that GH won't
be on long enough to see their child grow older

You just got to think positive.....about GH future
thats all you can do.....

But I am quit happy Mr.Easton is comming to GH !!
I heard its just the Star character and Mcbain will
be staying longer...

Looking forward to seeing
Sam and Jason along with John Mcbain in some scenes

OLTL characters

Todd, Blair and Cole are only going to be on briefly to introduce Starr, they are not staying. Only Starr and John McBain will be contract cast members.

Yet another

OLTL character will be coming to Port Charles. This crap is getting out of hand. GH is full of talented actors that hardly get any air time. So now they are bring on the Mannings, John and Cole. I swear if they bring over anymore of these worthless characters I maybe tuning out.

I can admit

that I didn't expect The View to last long either. However, I don't think that The View replaced a soap. Because, if I remember correctly Port Charles didn't come on until 12:30. So that is a major difference between The View and these other shows. Soap fans have a long memory. And, most will not forget how the networks treated them. I could be wrong and these shows may go on for years. But with the way our taste in tv changes over the years, it's highly unlikely. These shows offer nothing different from what is on CBS, NBC, The Cooking Network, The Food Channel and every other talk/cooking show out there.

The Future of ABC

Wish I could agree with you, Turn off ABC.

But did anybody expect "The View" to last as long as it has (it's been on for 15 years).

That show didn't actually catch fire until Rosie O'Donnell joined in it's tenth season so the truth is is that we're probably going to see "The Chew," "The Revolution," and "Katie" in our TV Guide listings from noon to 3 PM for the next 20 years.

We all know

that it's cheaper to produce these shows. We all know that they don't have to pull in the same ratings as a soap. However, I have seen talk shows come and go because the ratings were low and no longer making a profit for the network. However, ABC and CBS doesn't seem to care about this. Look at the ratings for these shows that have replaced soaps. CBS has a habit when the ratings drop they have their soaps do crossover promo. BnB has done this with Let's Make A Deal and The Price is Right. Y&R has done the very samething with The Talk and The Price is Right. ABC has shoved the non talent that they hired down our throats on every morning show. They have forced the promos for these shows down our throats. They seem to have spent more money on promos than they do on these shows. ABC will keep these shows on the air to save face. They won't ever admit that they were wrong. I will give these shows another year or two before they are yanked off the air.

JoJo's Right

As much as I hate to say it, if I was an ABC big wig/head honcho and was shown that I could save 80% per year by eliminating the daytime dramas (and all the costly stars, makeup people, wardrobe, etc.) by simply hiring two or three talking heads and put them on a contract salary.

I would do it.

And this is comin' from a large woman in charge. A woman whom has watched this medium even before cable TV existed.

I know that's right.

ABC

The new shows don't have to pull in same ratings for ABC to make it profitable to have canceled the soaps. Soaps cost a lot of money and these crappy reality/news/talk shows are very cheap in comparison.

GH/Katie C

Hasn't those idiots over at ABC learned a damn thing yet? Both of the shows that replaced AMC and OLTL are tanking in the ratings. And, its only going to get worse. I don't know who KC manager is but this person needs to think twice before letting Katie do her show. I for one will not be watching her show. Nothing agaise Katie. But she just can't replace GH.

The only shows that I will be watching on ABC during the day will be GMA, The View and Ellen. Other than that I have no use for ABC daytime tv. I don't need to watch a show that preaches about life style changes and fitness. When I can simply turn off the tv and head outside for a walk. Or better yet turn to the exercise channel and get my work out on. So thanks ABC for helping me get back into exercising and eating right.

Hospital's Final Weeks are Coming

Girls!

Mama just read on Soap Opera Digest.com that Katie Couric's talk show — KATIE — has already been cleared for broadcast in 93 percent of the country and has been sold in 95 of the top 100 markets.

Bet this news drives ol' Steve Burton to kick back with a case of Budweiser tonight. Heck, I might even do the same and Miss Clarissa don't even drink! LMFAO!!!

I love my Jasam...but I want my

Jason Morgan Sam Mcall and John Mcbain triangle

Yes I love my Jasam..

But you can have Jason in a scene with any female

Character and you will have some body posting

I want Jason with this female or that female.....Yes

Steve Burton is sexy and handsome...But isn't time

For someone who have a crush on Sam.....and what

Better actor and character to be that person...Michael

With my Jasam....they are expecting a baby that the

But we as fans are tired of having 2 women fighting
Over Jason.....and then dont forget about Carly..

Let see they sexy Jason with his gorgeous eyes
Have to compete and worry about our Sammy.....

Jason, since they got back together never had worry
About someone legit pushing up on Sam....

John Mcbain and his voice....and yes his beautiful
Eyes would be excellent for some eyes sex for Sam
(Sam is with child).......no hanky panky with sexy
John Mcbain......

I couldn't get my Lucky(GV) Vaughan Jasam triangle
Maybe just maybe I might get John Mcbain Jasam triangle

Jason always have some other female wanting him!

Well Sam needs to get that added attention...besides
Crazy Manny
Crazy Jerry
Crazy Dr.Thomas
Crazy Nico
Crazy Franco

It would be nice if John Mcbain some who is NOT INSANE
To have a crush Sam who is a cop and a sexy cop!!!

Note:

If you look at the ending of What If......
