The youth of America do not have the big bucks that the baby boomers have. they live off of their parents and fast forward through commercials because they have no time or patients for it. get rid of the older generation and you will be getting rid of your own financial support system!!! The 35-50 don't want to sit and watch the antics of the kids because they are already living with it in their own homes. |

Instead of increasing their roles on this show they should all be sent to summer school to get some brains. Love Will and Sonny though, probably because they interact with adults and real actors. |

| Posted By: Dee Posted On: May 1, 2012 Views: 134 | NBC PTB but not Days I think this might be coming from NBC/comcast or whoever but I dont think this is from Corday/Tomlin/Whitsell/Meng etc. Tomlin was the one who brought Suzanne Rogers front and center after all the years. He recognized that the FANS liked the dynamic between Maggie and Victor and ran with it. He was behind bring Crystal Chappel & Louise Sorel back to Days. The execution of the storyline wasnt the best but that was the last time Days had any sort of decent rating (Vivian trying to kill Mel and the end of the baby switch). Back when Justin first returned the first several months it was commented that Wally Kurth was seeing more time on Days as recurring than he had on GH on contract (again under Tomlin/Whitesell). Now under MarDar, Victor and Maggie fell off the radar, Justin and Adrienne arent there at all, Roman?? Caroline?? I can see that MarDar were getting squeezed to not used the "older" actors. |

TPTB may make ridiculous decisions in casting/uncasting/recasting from time to time, but this one would really take the cake. A large proportion of the viewership watches for the vets. Unless they intend to focus solely on the teen viewership (which usually only tunes in during the summer), it's a fatal move to oust all the over-40s. |
