Go Away, Adam -- PLEASE!

Was anybody else's hatred for Adam re-inforced 100% after watching yesterday's Memorial Day repeat from the summer of 2011?

I know mine was and the character is already one of my Top 5 most hated in the 40 years I've been watching the daytime medium.

MICHAEL MUHNEY

He makes a person want to vomit

Sharon

Come on can't you find some guy for Sharon, why the oldest guy on the show and her father in-law. Ugy! Victor belongs only with Nikki. Why can't Sharon and Nick get back together? They made a cute couple once. Victor needs to be put out in the pasture. Can't stand to watch them kiss, hope no bed room scenes.

Something So Right!

Has anybody else noticed that there is a picture of the egomaniacal Michael Muhney at the top of this page ...

And then right underneath that, the word, 'vomit.'?

HOW APPROPRIATE!

More for the new youth

Apparently they want more air time for the new youngins'. They thought so little of Eileen Davidson that they canned her...and now they're going to cut Michael Muhney's appearances to make room for this bunch of new dweebs. Deplorable.

Michael Muhney Withdrawals?

I read in the May 5 issue of CBS Soaps in Depth that Michael Muhney is ****ed because his character, Adam Newman, will only be seen onscreen once a week (at most) until July.

And he wants all of his fans to Tweet and Facebook and write to their mayors, do everything they can to make sure he is on more often. Because, apparently, he is the greatest thing to ever happen to daytime soap operas.

Sharon/Victor

This pairing is gross on so many levels. It's even worse because you could see how disgusted Sharon Case was with having to kiss Eric B. I laughed so hard at her trying to hide it. But there it was written all over her face and with her body language. I don't know where this s/l is going but I hope it's over soon. I'm so tired of seeing Victor everyday. I am also tired of seeing Sharon run from Newman to Newman. Hell I've been waiting for her to make a pass at Vicki.

I can't think of one storyline that I am interested in right now. I love Paul and wanted to see where he and Nina would end up. But that ship has sailed and it looks like Christine is back in the picture. Yawn.

Michael Muhney / Eileen Davidson

Bleh. The new softer Adam hasn't won me over. I'm still ready to see the character tossed out of town. Heck, I'd even prefer the homophobic Chris Egen resume the role (and I'm gay). That goes to show how dispicable Muhney is to me.

As for Eileen Davidson. She was fired in 2006 ... a few months later came back to CBS in "Bold and the Beautiful" and then eventually back to Genoa City. And I am sure she'll be back to "Young and the Restless" sometime soon.

victor and sharon

Just have to say it. I give props to Sharon Case for trying to pull this off. But she looked visibly mortified going in for that kiss. So difficult to watch. I find myself feeling sorry for that actors these days. The characters are worthless.

Not interested

I wish I could say the spoilers lead me to think better days are ahead. Unfortunately, Im already not taken with new Kyle and the thought of two more coming does nothing for me.

When you consider that and the never ending Victor must be on daily without interruption, I have little left to watch for.

Im getting tired of the daily Victor tirades and Im even tired of Jack either gloating or judgment of others considering his own consistent pattern of scheming, using relatives or like Victor accusing others of crimes he fabricated himself.

Isnt it time for something a bit more genuine?
Why not some actual romance on this program ? Why not business decisions that make sense and are inclusive? And why must it always be Victor or Jack exclusively and all else treated as bit players with rather choppy stories due to the lack of long term planning.

Eileen Davidson

Was she fired? I knew she was leaving, but didn't know the terms. In that case, I hope DAYS scoops her up so she can reprise her role of Susan Banks. EJ needs his Mom along about now, and it would be wonderful to have her back in Salem, since TPTB @ Y&R have chosen to send her packing. I still think it's a huge mistake, but maybe Y&R's loss will be DAYS' gain. As a fan of both, one can only hope...

Summer Newman

I am really hopping that Summer is not another Victor cheerleader!!

Given that Phyllis and Victor haven't been on great terms since it was revealed that Victor played a part in putting hurricane Patty on her destructible path. I think JT, Billy and Phyllis have it right... Limit the contact that and influence that Victor is allowed to have around the kids. Victor usually buys the grand kids affections with a pony. As kids they think Victor is jolly ole Santa. By the time everyone grows up Victor thinks it's his right to meddle and manipulate.

Please free Summer from the Victor Newman FanClub!!!

Too long

Gosh, it took them, what, 7-8 months to conclude Diane's murder. Sure hope Daisy's doesn't drag on like that one. Great that they're dumping Daisy but awful about Ashley.

Daisy

I had predicted four months ago they were setting up a Daisy "whodunnit," so if that is the case then I was right. I have to confess, though, my track record for predictions has improved with these writers because they repeat the sames stories so often.

I am in Wisconsin on family business at the moment, so I am away from my regular workspace. When I get back early next week, I will work on getting confirmation and details.

Daisy

I'll be ecstatic for Daisy to be gone and this storyline to be over, but I dread the thought of yet another never-ending "who dunnit" with regard to her reported murder.
