Root Of All Evil
For a plan to work to curb crime in Jamaica;(1) we need to redundant our present police officers, every single one, and rebuild a police force with regular Jamaicans under a stricter code of conduct. It will cost a lot to get done but life is more valuable than toll roads (although needed) and some other things the country is spending big on these days. (2) Create jobs in the rural areas (stop congesting the main towns). (3) Ensure all citizens have a housing solution as early as they leave high school (of all the land 'sold' to the Chinese to facilitate the roads, if I had a little hut, They would have to pay me for it and NHT get their share and I get a proper house). (4) If politicians are still facilitating criminals, in any way, they need to stop or when caught 'hang until dead'. (5)Encourage early supervised weapons familiarization from grades 7 and up(it's an exciting piece of tool that will fascinate youths so teach them about it the right way). (6) Help the poor defend themselves, they are the ones being killed the most and most of them were unarmed when killed. (7) Regulate the population, encourage only married couples to reproduce and outlaw divorce to couples with children still in school, unless sanctioned by the divorce court after counseling.
Seven can be revised.

The Jamaican People need to United as a People and demand Justice from their Politicans. The People are Uneducated so the Politican use that for their purpose. They are not patriatic who want to see Jamaica great.Corruption is the order of the day.We are worse off under our own people than when we were under the British. We the People are the only ones who can take Jamaica and build it.

The police and the rest of government are corrupted. If they do there job properly and follow their code of ethics then some of the problems Jamaica facing will decrease. It is not just the bad man with the gun you have to check the people up top who lie and pay off the police and the judge. The government is irrelevant if it is so corrupted.

The government needs to continue its efforts at controlling the smuggling of guns and ammunition, as the fewer weapons available to commit mass atrocities will assist law enforcement in reducing violent crime.
So far the Police have noted that there are less spent bullets left at crime scenes, and hopefully, this is an actual indication of problems that criminals are having.
The law enforcement could further enhance its efforts by putting barriers at the vulnerable beaches of the South Coast, thus making it difficult to land there. The same was done to unused airstrips that were being used for ganja flights, and were dug-up to render them useless.

Only one solution
Jamaica's violent crime statistics match up to that of a warzone, it is sad to say but the only clear solution to Jamaica's violence is for the government to enforce Martial Law. It is extreme but necessary, that alone will quell the fearless gun men in Jamaica

Crime in Jamaica
No way. this will solve crime, what they need is strong legislation measures, like someone assault a law enforcement Officer (10) years, shoot at a Police officer (25) years, Wounding a police officer using a Gun (50) years and killing an officer Death Penalty parole after serving (40) years. same should go toward a normal citizen. Found with al illegal Gun life imprisonment.
Aiding and abetting to any of the above mention crime same as the person that commit the crime, time for serious action to be taken.
Finally time to use injection, Electrocution, or Guillotine to get rid of the barbaric criminals.

Politicians started this culture of murder and mayhem, where the ends justify the means, and human life is a mere obstacle to be surpassed.
They nurtured and shielded criminals from prosecution, or any consequences from their actions, making some of these murderers into over-glorified, anti-heroes, regardless of the horror of their crimes.
Now 'the chickens have come home to roost', so to speak, and the survival of Jamaica as a healthy, independent state, is now at grave risk. These serious circumstances have no easy solutions now that 'Pandora's Box' has been opened, which will require a miracle to undo.

Police strategy to curb murder
For the love of God, this needs to work! Gang bangers & ignorance behind guns, are wiping out family's. It's got to stop.Every street needs protection from these wicked devils.Drastic change needs to be done, NOW. Lot of new hotels up all over, tourism down. Jamaicans that live abroad, don't want to go back to visit family. How much more can the good people, that just want to live in peace and watch kids play outside? End the Madness!
