Returning to Yahoo seems unhelpful, considering the changes that are imminent. SimpleLists without porn would seem to detract from the nature of the group, somewhat - even though that response might appear a trifle shallow... Unhelpful, I know. Some users from a different io group have begun posting (porn pics) to the New Tumbl site with a note to the main site, using that main site for 'non-porn' posts. I'd not be too averse to pursuing that route - though I appreciate that once again much of the burden falls on you. |

What about the .org site Squirt etc uses? Or run it as a private email account with a mailing list of "friends" you regularly message. Any idea who complained? You have a right to face your accuser so they should tell you since they portray themselves as such a morally correct company, their honesty, transparency & full disclosure should be part of their moral & ethical code of conduct responsibility too. There has to be a site for us too, somewhere. Let's see what the shakeout is for Yahoo, and that might give us some idea of where to go. |
