I am now taking a college class in public speaking, and I am terrified every time I get up in front of the class to speak. I dread hearing the sound of my name being called, because I realize that it is zero hour, and I'm next!!! I have given four speeches, and the anxiety has not decreased at all. I have no idea of what I can do to decrease my anxiety, because I have tried all of the usual tricks and nothing works.
I commend anyone who can get up in front of an audience, and speak without feeling like they are going to pass out, as I do.
If there is anyone with any good advice for me, please let me know.
